A 3/4 glue player, with very few handle.

They were comparing Bolmaro and Manu, that apart from being of the same country, are kind of the same player, in the best ceiling possible, Bolmaro will be a 75% of Manu.

The comparision with Deni is Kukoc, now IMO Deni is a similar player to Juancho HernanGomez, with worse shooting.
Not a first round in my opinion.

i believe that the best case for Deni is Blejica/Saric

deni is an elite passer and you want him to handle the ball a lot on offense with his creativity and feel, he is much more a 1/2 guy than a 3/4 guy

Yeah I’m going to disagree. Manu had an awkwardly loose shifty dribble Deni doesn’t have, and more importantly played with a flair that I haven’t seen from Deni. He was a wild horse that needed to be tamed and while it drove Pop crazy it’s also what made him special. I don’t see that from Deni. He gets fired up when he makes a big shot sure, but nothing he does shows that same edge of your seat wtf is he going to do style.

You not seeing deni in his full assertiveness and confident, he's 19yo in his first season at senior level, have you ever saw manu at 19yo... I think looking at talent, skills, type of player deni is the closest thing to manu I've seen...

I really don't see anything in Avdija that reminds me of Manu. As far as the media claiming Bolmaro is like Manu.......They are both Argentine/Italian big wings that can handle the ball, run the offense and make nice passes. That's about all I see similar.

Bolmaro looks more like a worse shooting version of Marko Jaric, or a less athletic version of Tomas Satoransky, something like that.

I’ve seen a lot of videos on twitter popping up w/ Deni shooting in open gym. His form looks really good.

In some ways I've seen some Jake Layman in Avdija

This has to be it. Layman is nothing like Avdija.

White, good looking and 6'8' - 6'9''. Nothing more in common (more than between any couple of 6'8' - 6'9'' players)

Hey guys!

I'm From Europe and i watched every game of Avdija from this Season so i made a very good MIX of his best plays so far.
I really worked hard for this tape because it wasn't easy to find all the best plays from different aspects of his game.

because i'm from Europe i don't know where i can share the video so he'll have a lot of exposure around NBA fans from USA.
if you guys can help me with that and to share my video with other fans or on NBA social media will very appreciate it.
it's very important to me that the video will get a lot of exposure around the US and a lot of fans will watch my MIX

thank you!! and if you have any question about Avdija you can ask me, i actually know everything about him and his game.

Play style is a little different (Avdija has been more on-ball playmaker, Layman more of a shooter), but body type, length, off-ball cutting ability, and NBA roles I think there are some comparisons to be made. No player comparisons are 100% exact, everyone is different. Trying to claim my post as a race thing is just lazy discussion.

Body type? Not similar at all. Avdija looks stronger, with wider shoulders. Layman jumps a bit higher...
Avdija handles the ball a lot, in U20 competition - even up to being PG not small minutes... In Israeli league he's functioning as kind of Point Forward. Avdija is a secondary playmaker with very good for his height handles and exceptional passing abilities... Layman can slash and as relatively high-BBIQ player occasionally makes nice assist.
Characters are even more different. Avdija was the star player from U-16 teams, very competitive and even a bit arrogant. Layman is a late boomer, which was role-player almost all his career.
The role? We don't know what role Avdija will have. If he will be a playmaker - it will differ a lot from Layman's role.
So both have cutting abilities, and I will even add - a little bit similar in the way they slashing to the basket...
Does couple (at most) of similar features makes them similar players? No, not really...

I never said they were similar players, just that I've seen similarities.

Very optimistic indeed. It's also pretty funny that he thinks Jalen Rose was a better player than Brent Barry...
