Let's say you get a Boston x Lakers or Clippers x Lakers series in the finals..how tempted would the NBA be to move those games out of Orlando to play with a crowd? Maybe half the arena or something..not likely obviously, but I do wonder how tempted they would be to get some fans in on those games..specially if the number of Covid cases are on a steady decline by then..

They're likely going to get to 70 games.
But, without a Vaccine, they just can't risk a live fanbase.

It's crazy to me because if they are waiting for a vaccine, does that mean the start of next season will be in Orlando with no fans also? Is there even a guarantee a vaccine will be available next year or even ever? At some point they gotta bring fans back with or without a vaccine..
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

How's his defense in that league?

Thanks for sharing. I’m going to be critical, but not of you:)

James Young’s game still looks floppy and flimsy. Feet splaying, flipping up leaners as he goes down against non-NBA competition — it’s gross. He doesn’t have NBA strength, and he didn’t seem to have much fortitude here either. He could mature into both and make his way back a la Gerald Green, but I don’t have much hope or care.

Maybe if keeps lighting the scoreboard up though, someday, somewhere, Beyoncé will wear a red version of his jersey as a dress..

At the risk of admitting I watched James Young highlights, those were almost my exact thoughts. Right down to thanks for sharing - it was cool of you to post, IsraeliB. But, I am gonna guess that first minute plus I wacthed is the last I ever see of him.

Good news, there is a chance that the Grizz could be beat out of the 8th seed with new proposal. Meaning our pick could still be lotto.

I’m also back.

Now with the questions..

Anyone know if teams are allowed to sign players now and if they are eligible for a playoff run?

Part 2 of question
If teams not invited to the tourney can they waive players and then be picked up by teams participating?

I'd say NO.
Free Agency doesn't start until after the season is over.

We're also past the last date that a player could be released from a team, and be playoff eligible for the new team.

I hope they cancel the season for two reasons. I don't want to see the LAL winning a title. The Cs would likely get bounced within the first two rounds. They lack depth and the Bucks and Raptors are clearly superior teams.

Good Idea.
We should cancel all sports, for all-time. So nobody ever beats Boston. Ever.

the NBA is about to give the US a much needed pick me up and you want to cancel the season?! Cmon man, C's have a good chance to go deep IMO. The Bucks are the team to beat, but Toronto is right on our level. I say let the games begin so we can get a sense of normality back!
