NBA FINALS PREVIEW

Brooklyn Nets vs Golden State Warriors

Outlook: Two of the best teams throughout BAF this year have reached the finals. From the east you have the second best team during the regular season who proved to be a matchup nigthmare with Embiid vs the Chicago Bulls. They are facing off against the most consistent and dominant team during the regulars season in the Golden State Warriors. Goldent State has home court advantage which ultimately might be the deciding factor because it puts a lot of pressure on the Nets to win in 6.

Both teams are coming in healthy playing there best basketball. After going down 2-1 in there series vs the surging defending champs (Dallas) GS rattled off 3 of the next 4 games to advance to the finals. With a balanced attack the Warriors kill your from every angle. They can keep the game close with there starters to then blow the game open with there dominant bench unit.

Brooklyn relies on there starters but has the most dominant player in the playoffs (Joel Embiid). Embiid has been unstoppable in the playoffs and for GS to win they will need to slow him down. He is wrecking havoc on every matchup. For brooklyn to win they will need someone from the bench unit (Burke or LeVert) to take advantage. They might even need to use SIM god Faried off the bench in this series just to stagger some of there depth to matchup with GS elite bench unit.

Ultimately GS hurdled over there road block in Dallas and I think they are in position to win there first BAF championship

Prediction: Golden State in 7
4-Peat! 22-25 BAF Champion Spurs:

Pelicans Received: Anthony Davis

Knicks Received: Devin Booker, Antonio Blakeney, and Lance Thomas

Spurs Received:

Frank Ntilikina
Mikal Bridges
JaMychal Green
Aaron Gordon
Willie Cauley-Stein
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Omari Spellman + Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk
#3 pick in 2020 draft (via Washington)
#9 pick in 2020 draft (via NY)
#21 pick in 2020 draft (via Minn)
2021 Cavs 1st round pick

Anthony Edwards for Anthony Davis basically, happy with that haul?

I was also able to move Gondon and WCS for the #11 pick and a 2022 1st rounder.

So ultimately its

#3 (edwards or ball)
#9
#11 (magic pick from Gordon trade)
#21
2021 1st (cavs)
2022 1st (magic)
Mikal Bridges (best young player I received)

then cap filler

Considering my salary restrictions with AD and me just not being able to properly put a winning team around him (kinda maxed out). I think I am very happy with that deal.

I probably sold Booker a little light (it didn't help he was an expiring contract) I also thought the Minnesota pick was a sure fire lottery pick and that your team (pelicans) was a sure fire playoff team. But the SIM can be tricky.

That AG haul is even bigger than AD one imo

With Bol Bol reentering the draft to get picked by Pistons and mpharris confirming he is going Edwards/Ball, Adam Silver steps up to the podium to announce the 10th pick in the draft..

The AG deal did make up for the lack luster Booker return. Even though he's really good he was an expiring and less teams were willing to pony up huge assets for him.

It is funny that before the season if you asked me looking at the rosters which pick was potentially the most valuable I thought the minnesota pick (in a tough western conference with no stars). That that pick was a high lottery pick. It ended up being the worst pick out of the bunch.

Washington pick after a couple of there trades turned that pick into gold that really helped me get value from AD from you.

6/16- The Washington Wizards have agreed to trade Kevin Love, Damyean Dotson, Cristiano Felicio and Channing Frye to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Jabari Parker, Zach Collins, Norman Powell, a 2021 2nd round draft pick and a 2022 2nd round draft pick.

6/15- The Denver Nuggets have agreed to trade John Wall along with the #13 and #24 picks in the 2019 NBA draft to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Kemba Walker, Evan Fournier, Austin Rivers, Henry Ellenson and the #21 pick in the 2019 NBA draft.

If you are a rebuilding team and need to clear salary for next year hit me up. Conley and Gordon combined $335 in expiring salary for 2021 Free Agency.

just FYI rules are rules, payton and KCP have to be traded together
