If it hasn't been mentioned already:

Battle Star Galactica...4 seasons 2004 (Edward James Olmos)

If you like it, they did a prequel after called Caprica...it is about the creation of the first cylon. I really liked it but it was cancelled after poor reviews...i think the content (A.I creation) was a bit complex for a show to put forward but if you can follow along it was pretty interesting...just not sure if it should be watched before or after BSG?

Ty to everyone who recommended Mad Men to me. That ending really was fulfilling and well done.

Sopranos & Trem are at the top of my list of shows I haven’t watched. But they’re both so many seasons that I wanna finishing catching up on current shows like Westworld.

Add ZeroZeroZero to the list before Sopranos. 8 episodes and very well done.

I guess if you consider the entire story arc the ending might've been fulfilling. I just wasn't as satisfied for some reason.

Even Suits' ending was better, even though it's totally because it couldn't really do well after.

I'm enjoying LOST as I only watched the first 2 seasons and lost interest when it was broadcast. I guess I stopped caring what was going to happen next. I did watch the last few episodes and the Finale when it aired and was :banghead: like everyone else. Now re-watching I'm able to notice more nuances with characters. Also can pause and rewind to re-watch things that might've flashed by on air. :reporter:

Not sure about Lost and Entourage being listen with shows that are GOAT tier. I'd remove those 2 and add The Wire, which probably tops the list.

I'm with you on the current shows though and add Big Little Lies.

Some great suggestions. You guys have sold me on Mad Men. As far as recent shows I've watched and would recommend:

Cobra Kai
Fargo
Ozark
Money Heist
The Servant
Defending Jacob

True Detective is good. First season then third then second in that order. All different stories ala Fargo or american horror story.

Cobra Kai, season one is so well written! Season two gets too campy for my taste.

Lost/Entourage perhaps didnt have the drama, complexity, acting and directing of the other shows but to me they had me hooked on the same scale. Entourage made the viewer feel like they were actually in the show living the Hollywood dream. With Lost there were so many great heart wrenching WTF moments that forced you to immediately watch the next episode.

Re: Big Little Lies - I've enjoyed it so far but I get the sense that that show is going to start to trail off.....I dont know if they have a strong enough story line to spread into 6-7-8 seasons.

The Wire - on my must watch list....havent got around to it yet.

I tried watching Treme recently, but found myself fast forwarding through much of the music segments (of which, they're are a lot), and I found the characters to be fairly boring. I gave it up.

Now I'm watching Twin Peaks (1990). I vaguely remember watching it as a kid, but I decided to rewatch it. Man, such a weird show.

Sherilyn Fenn was so pretty, though.
