This decade is unreal. Kobe's death wayyyyy past on our rearview mirror. The 2 white guys point blank shooting the jogger is almost out of most American's mind. What a fcking surreal start to this decade.

its not that anyone really needed it clarified but the police response - coming from the top all the way down - has made crystal clear the issue being protested

when police feel disrespected or feel their authority is being questioned their first and only answer is to react with extreme and disproportionate force

this used to be a tactic from war
it was adopted purposefully by police starting in Los Angeles and moving country wide at the same time as SWAT and other tactical units became popular

no community policing has been replaced by military style containment

as if communities of color specifically but really anyone are an occupied population

they work with disproportionate response to people of color but no one but a police is exempt

of course within the police community is a very strong political bias as well.
which is why DeBlasio's daughter gets her address and phone number posted online by the police union and why CNN reporters get ruder bullets while white men with guns openly displayed get a pass

this nation has cancer
cancer of the soul
its eating itself and its going to end up in blood

contents under pressure have no choice but to explode

Indeed, I really shouldn't have left out anyone though you guys where the ones I initially corresponded with. I will forever to be grateful to you all. I was truly a moment of solidarity which touched my heart deeply and I'm being completely serious. It's like getting "one of these." You really have no understanding what it means to get "one of these" until you get "one of these." I was truly humbled by the moment. Those were the days. We were so young and innocent.

DC is the only jurisdiction Trump can fully mess with right now as it has no governor. In the 50 states a governor is the one who calls in troops, not the president. But in DC the President can kind of do WTF he wants

So if you know anyone protesting in DC, warn them to be EXTRA CAREFUL. Trump is really pushing the envelope now

My first instinct was to be glad he lost since he is a nazi but I somehow doubt his replacement will be any better maybe won't say the quiet parts out loud like king did but that's it

RIP to David McAtee, a who owned a local BBQ joint and was known to give out free food to police, etc. He was gunned down by police who shot at protesters and ended up killing a friend. They shooting first, asking questions later. Again.
