Well the German Soccer League just announced that they are playing games again starting two weeks from now. I guess their athletes only need two weeks to get back into game shape.

Makes me wonder why our NBA players think they need more time than that.

The Germans plan to be playing in empty arenas. We should be doing the same thing.

NBA execs apparently don't want to start back up but the tv stations and the media distribution companies want them to

It's all money

Execs are worried about potential liability - will insurance even cover potential issues if players or staff get sick? Will insurance just cost too much?
Are you going to risk your 400 mill cash cow James Harden or other Star suffering a career ending lung impact if they get covid? Just for a short term blip in a shortened playoff run?

I don't see why it matters whether games are held in front of fans or not. Should be a non-issue

The irony is that people want parts of all those live streaming services - ie I watch a couple shows from Prime, Netflix, etc but I dont care for majority of the content on all of those services.

But If I were to subscribe to all the providers for the one or two shows/services I wanted to watch, it would easily cost more than a cable package.

But I only want to watch a couple channels on my cable package and don't want to pay for the whole thing.

Its the never ending circle.

Exactly.

All these big production companies branching away from Netflix and starting their own streaming services basically brings us back to where we started lol.

The Raptors 905 are doing weekly calls for Season Ticket holders with members of the coaching staff. We can ask questions ahead of time. What would you ask them, if you had the chance?

How many minutes will McCaw play with a full healthy lineup?

I hope this doesn’t jinx it, but I welcome the TD era. Sorry Patrick, but at least you’ll still get another ring.

After the game Gasol can take Embiid to the Epcot centre, hand in hand.
