100% how it went down in Atlanta on Friday. Not a brick was thrown, not a spray paint can used, no punches until about 5pm when white masked clowns showed up. Same playbook they ran about a year ago on Tech campus with Scout Schultz protest. Organized in real time using our prosecution immune tech friends from Facebook / Twitter and wechat.

Black people brought signs, these other folks brought bricks, bleach, spray paint and threw gasoline over the whole thing.

Antifa is a meme that is easily co-opted to smear peaceful demonstrators. All we know right now is white people dressed in black arrive from out of town to sabotage protests by committing acts of vandalism and destruction. In some instances it is local kids being stupid, but thus far the anecdotal evidence is there are coordinated actions of this sort.

Even the dumbest anarchist understands those actions get twisted for political finger pointing purposes. And I don't think an anarchist who actually reads Goldman or Bakunin wants the blame to fall on the left or blacks or the poor.

So these actions are done by either

(a) really, really dumb MF'ers who love chaos in the video game sense with zero ideological considerations; or

(b) false flag operators who seek to stoke unrest to create a boogeyman left wing target to blame.

Trump grandstanding by saying he'd declare Antifa a terrorist organization was the surest indication it was (b).

Well we've got the same actual people who've turned up other heated but non-violent protests, about two years apart. Same local facebook groups. I think it's lots of a) ... these people don't think further than the inch of their nose and don't care. They don't care that everybody employed at the dress store they're burning in Atlanta is Black and it's Black owned. It's all about pure anti-everything, anti-cop, anti-business, anti-individual, anti-capitalism. They justify it by saying the ends justify the means. Blah blah blah ... same people who burned the cop car at the Scout Schultz protests two years prior, exact same tactics, outfits and groups. They won't be here over the next 2 years of rebuilding, joblessness and economic misery (that was probably coming via covid anyway).

It is definitely that to one degree or another. They're idiotic vandals and help no one. Some of them probably grew up privileged and hate everything. They don't want to earn anything. They just want to destroy. They are similar to some of the other stupid liberals who talk about blowing stuff up as if that is revolutionary, but these clowns actually do it

I still think there have been some instances of groups with anti-left agendas appropriating the ninja look to pretend they are "Antifa", but I accept your view that much of it is done by ignorant and destructive fools

The official autopsy report was just released this evening.

As was released earlier by the medical examiner’s office, Floyd’s cause of death is listed officially as “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restrain, and neck compression.”

Floyd had contracted the novel coronavirus, sometimes called COVID-19 or 2019-nCoV, the report says.  A postmortem nasal swab collected on the day of the autopsy turned out to be “positive for 2019-nCoV,” it says.  However, the medical examiner’s findings suggest that the actual infection may have occurred nearly two months earlier.

“The decedent was known to be positive for 2019-nCoV RNA on 4/3/2020,” the report goes on to say.  “Since PCR positivity for 2019-nCoV RNA can persist for weeks after the onset and resolution of clinical disease, the autopsy result most likely reflects asymptomatic but persistent PCR positivity from previous infection.”

In other words, the medical examiner’s office believes that Floyd would not have been suffering from symptoms when he died.

The scariest part about all of this is how normalized it all has become to everybody when we are so far gone from what ever should have been acceptable

I'm just being real with you when I say I don't really know what you mean. This is not Spain after Francisco Franco consolidated power. This is not Italy after Benito Mussolini consolidated power. This is not Russia after Stalin purged the Trotskyites and consolidated power.

This is the U.S.A. on the edge of systemic breakdown, but still with workable systems of counteraction leading up to our still intact right to vote and usher in a reversal of fortune and a new regime.

You throw bombs when there is no longer any hope of systemic change without violence. We are by no means at at that point unless people chew cud like docile cows who stupidly believe there is no difference between parties and don't vote or if they're a blithering idiot like Krystall Ball who threatens to withhold their support because they're so maddddddddd. I have no sympathy for anyone who is willing to justify four more years of this because nobody is good enough for them. Now is not the time to throw bombs.
