Wilco may not be your thing, but is this possibly the greatest guitar solo ever? It might be my pick. The solo starts at 2:40 so hang in there. If you have a better one post it. Guitar solos are subjective but the best ones are beautiful and deserve to be heard. Have a good weekend guys.

I'm going to be that guy and say David Gilmour's solo at the end of "Comfortably Numb" will always be the greatest solo of all time. With that out of the way, here is my choice.....John Mitchell from the band Arena. Very Gilmour-esque......solo starts at 3:15.

Julien Baker is a damn saint! This is one of the best live performances I’ve seen and it was in the middle of a street. Watch all the way through.

Brandi Carlisle is also a saint and this is one of the best cover versions of a song out there.

Is Machine Gun Kelly good? Prior to this week I've never listened to him because he looks like a ridiculous white rapper.

But this is so freaking good.

I’ve listened to a couple of his songs and I thought they were awful. I’ll give this one a try later, but I’m not confident.

No.

I should elaborate on this. This is actually a huge pivot for him compared to his awful hip hop music and it looks like he’s almost trying to bring back early aughts pop punk here for some reason. I enjoyed some of that music back then, but this just seems like a disingenuous move here for an artist hunting to get more fans.

The DMX Verzuz Snoop has been fun, even if I think I know more of D's music at this point than he does.

Taylor Swift is working with Aaron Dessner (The National) and Bon Iver now? I guess I'd be lying if I said I wasn't mildly intrigued.

1989 was the last good Swift album but this new one also has me intrigued.
