add in small things like Wayne Ellington playing over Dotson and Trier...add in Knox looked horrible and his limited minutes. DSJ going in a sh*tter. RJ's struggles playing next to two players that don't compliment or pass him the ball

overall just a wasted opportunity to develop our young core.

Only positive is this atrocious year got Mills fired.

Yea, we still don't even know exactly what we have with our young players. Hopefully Rose has a much better plan/vision. We seem far away, but if he can just get us in the right direction things could start looking a lot better.

there are so many underlying factors but with this shorten season and with the news that Thibs is a clear favorite and Rose is an agent...I wonder if he plans a legit play it slow rebuild or he will get pressure from Dolan to turn this around and put a respectable product on the floor at the cost of potentially skipping steps.

I know thats a pretty negative outlook but lets says we have been down this road before and we seem to never choose the right path.

just a hair over 2 months until the lottery. I'll just wait until then before worrying any more about this. at least after that we can narrow our options down. we've already beaten every possibility to death at this point

yeah if the top 7 goes like (in no particular order) - Wiseman, Edwards, Ball, Haliburton, Hayes, and Okungwu

I really wonder what we would do...

I would think Rose will at least have a year grace period.....i mean, even Dolan should understand by now it cant be turned around overnight. So next year really needs to be focused on setting things up as best as possible, including development. At least i hope. You never know what the plan or directive is though. Im sure eventually they will go after stars and take some shots

1- Sign Thibs
2- Draft Haliburton, Hayes, or Ball
3- Sign Jerami Grant
4- Make the 2021 NBA Playoffs after a 100 Year Drought

that will be the logical approach but I have my doubts until proven otherwise.

correct because if we are picking 7th only 6 guys would go in front of us.

The stars went to Brooklyn. Not hard to imagine Dolan being furious about that. Rose is here to get star players, I think that much is clear. Didn't he give the green light to Perry to continue working the DLo trade as soon as he arrived and even told Perry to include a first round pick? Obviously the Warriors declined the offer but I think it's safe to assume we aren't going to take the slow and steady approach.

It's funny that there was a recent report about Brooklyn inquiring about Bradley Beal, oof. If Beal was available I'm putting money on Rose being on it.

there like a 1/4 chanc of us picking below 7 so I think its a safe bet...but regardless 7 or 8...and if thats is the group that is left over you will have a ton of diversity and a tough call to make.

all offense no defense and age factor in toppin
okoro might be best defensive player in the draft but still has a lot of room to go offensively
avdija (do we really think we would pick him)? the backlash would be crazy especially since he isn't a guard
Cole - probably the safest pick for Rose to make considering the avg fan will be happy but has major flaws.

I guess Kira Lewis could be in play as well
