Stay classy millennial.

I'm pretty sure it was my sh*tpost game, can't see why else, my bball takes are kinda sh*t

Look, I'm gonna be real with you. I just don't think you've got it anymore. Trolling's like ball, you gotta keep innovating or else you get left in the dust, and I see better trolls than you daily on this board. What you're doing really just seems more like a cry for attention from someone realizing he's already past his prime and his best accomplishment is getting people kicked off a message board

Sucks, but it happens.

I don’t use straws. He does, that was my whole innuendo before about him getting a modship, there’s a deep talent there and it sounds like you’re familiar with it. Birds of a feather, keep flocking.

I’ll be real with you, since no one here is. I’ve never trolled, never needed to. I’m a Lonewolf in a forest of deranged ideologues.

Check my resume, how many threads have I been on that I’ve been attacked by six or more people and held my ground and clapped back in equal proportion?
Hint, dozens.

You must be bored and looking for a little insight so here you go, I’ve been drinking and that’s the least of my worries right now. I should probably stop partying like I’m 18 since I’m 42, but given my history
I don’t even think the grim reaper will be able to take me the first time he visits me. Bottom line is and was in the tine of Corona I got bored popped in and popped off a little bit.

Good day.

Truth. I’ll take your comment at face value.I didn’t show up to get people riled up but the problem I have with all of this stuff right now, the election and everything else going on is if you voice a dissenting opinion, you’re a racist, pariah, etc. At least that’s the POV from people on your side of the spectrum.
People that claim to be tolerant and accepting of all are anything but that.
It’s mental fascism.

I'm not going to make assumptions about your personal life, but you have to understand how it looks to me. You're a person in their 40s who is currently drinking alone on a Thursday and you come onto a board which you know runs counter to your political opinions. A place you haven't been a regular at for a long time, as I honestly can't recall ever interacting with or even seeing your name before. If you have a personal issue and don't want to talk about it, that's fine, but we're here to help you if you want

I’ll alleviate your concerns you could dial it down like four notches. In the midst of a pandemic many people me included don’t have a job right now. So if I want to drink on a Thursday, have multiple flings with loose women and do illegal things in my spare time then I will. Just because I don’t frequent the forum much anymore doesn’t mean I haven’t been here before you knew it existed. I had some time to kill, Mission accomplished. People like me don’t seek help, we either help ourselves or we don’t.

We all need a little help sometimes, just letting you know it's here

Again, I'm not one to judge as I am a bit of a loner myself, but I do have some family members around your age with that lifestyle who are definitely starting to regret some life choices, and only thing I can tell you is you gotta let the past go. Ain't no use worrying about it, just change for the future if you're not satisfied with your life. Never too late to start fresh

Word. I don’t know if it’s the past as much as it’s the present and the possible future. I just give less Fcks about everything. Seems to be the way of the world. I’m just doing what I do best, surviving and hiding. Cause I don’t want to be out there and snap on some idiot who was born that way and won’t ever change. Honestly, I got my cabin, my bulldog, the occasional woman, my music, my vices and I’m ok with that.

Oh please do. Have a real reason for once, since you jellyfishes never ever have, and make it official by the book and very lawyerly, cause it’s obvious I have too much time on my hands. Adios.

Kinda weird to use jellyfish as an insult

Cause like, they just sit there. Don't bother nobody. And if you get stung, it's your fault for swimming into them when you have an entire ocean to share

P.S.: I am not actually planning to vote in any state other than where I live regardless of any error by a former state of residence.

Maybe the guy knew that and was just drunk.

Not to defend him (though I like Bukowski), but these days Politics seems to go down better if drunk. How many more killings can we see on video sober? :banghead:

The joke was obvious, but generally speaking when people want to cape for voter suppression they have to pick out anecdotal crap or magnify a tongue-in-cheek post since arguing against mail-in voter fraud on the merits of actual evidence is gonna struggle. The Heritage Foundation to a big swing and a miss trying to justify the voter suppression using data recently. This article breaks down how hard they failed.

https://www.brookings.edu/blog/fixgov/2020/06/02/low-rates-of-fraud-in-vote-by-mail-states-show-the-benefits-outweigh-the-risks/

An Excerpt:
The above chart refutes the contention that mail-in ballot systems are rife with fraud in several ways. First, note the small number of voter fraud cases overall. Next, note that a subset of those cases involve types of fraud to which mail-in ballot systems would be especially susceptible. Next, look at the time periods covered by these data. In Oregon, the first state to adopt a universal vote-by-mail system, the Heritage researchers had to cover a period of 19 years in order to find 15 cases of voter fraud! Less than one case a year hardly qualifies as rampant voter fraud.

But perhaps the most revealing column is the one listing the number of fraudulent votes attempted by mail. Republicans would have you believe that vote fraud is widespread enough to affect elections. But the fraud uncovered by the Heritage study is inconsequential. What has been uncovered in these five vote-by-mail states is on the individual level and not on an organized level. For instance, Janice Waters of Marysville, Washington, was found guilty of voting a ballot for her son who was a convicted felon and thus not eligible to vote. Jane Kay Balogh, also from Washington, was convicted of registering her dog Duncan to vote at her address and filling out an absentee ballot for him. Waters was sentenced to jail time, later converted to community service; Balogh got a deferred sentence plus community service and had to pay court costs. In Oregon, Terri Louise Kobialka was convicted of filling out a ballot mailed to her apartment in the name of a former roommate. She was fined $500 and ordered to do 120 hours of community service.

Vote by mail is awesome. I do it in my jammies. Plus, the State sends a booklet where all of the candidates and ballot measures get a policy/statement page. Soooooo informative and easy + no COVID @ the polls!

There is a "silver lining" - or "wake up" call - if you will, to this virus. We need to make a veritable laundry list of changes, no? :D Maybe we just needed a little nudge, eh? :noway:
