Silver has had weekly calls with executive committee members Paul, Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry and Dallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell; another weekly call with the league's general managers and team presidents, and biweekly calls with the 30 owners.

Not really worried about the regular season schedule. Overall, for playoffs the only teams that scare me are Clippers/Bucks/Celtics. I have a little PTSD from Philly, and BK is a darkhorse but that's it.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

I have been thinking about the dark horses for the playoffs and this break really does change things. Those who had access to full facilities stand the best chance of having done some skill development during this break.

I really think a team like Houston could really shock some people in the Western conference with their chances.

Philly does scare me but they still dont really know how to fit together and we have Marc insurance

It's those other teams that have achieved nothing in recent years that are fearing us, or being folly for not fearing us.

What sucks is that anyone xan have one of those 13 game bargnani streaks. Its basically a new season. Guys who play in Drew league will thrive, look for DeRosa to win the finals mvp.

Players will likely test positive and the NBA acknowledges that.

The only thing that will help me solidify as to whether this will work or not is details on testing/tracing and what exactly the restrictions are with the bubble.

Working in the hospital and seeing us turning another ICU unit into a COVID floor. Patient's that were tested COVID negative and then COVID positive a few days later. Florida's questionable COVID numbers. People not following social distancing. These protests adding to that. It only takes one NBA player to get the test positive. I'm just not optimistic.

I think one of the reasons why some people are so hesitant about this working is because the specific details about the safety protocols haven't been released yet, like what the protocol would be if somebody tests positive, how many people in total are allowed in this bubble, etc.

>Hospital is like the warzone compared to the bubble City concept/Disney World being a Bunker
>Players will be tested multiple times (German's Bundesliga has provided the blueprint and without using the bubble life --3 weeks on and so far no issue, any player/staff that tests positive get isolated and more testing to follow
> Florida's COVID NUMBERS with the bubble life concept do not matter..Disney world will be one of the most secure /if not the most secure place in the universe for those 3 months
> A player testing positive would only mean contact tracing and isolation if needed..if an entire team is "sick" then that team will be out, simple. The show will go on until we have a Champion.
