All 57 officers are disgusted that their fellow officers were suspended for almost killing an unarmed old guy?

They are afraid to come forward, cross the line and kneel with the protesters. I think that they probably feel like they have no "cover" yet. But if they had the courage to do that, en masse, then it would change make such a big difference.

I wouldn’t even trust them if they kneeled.

Every single cop on that force quit because they don’t want to be held accountable for bad behavior. That’s pretty damning.

Then I give up. Unfortunately, we must now make them bend a knee before "us" in recognition that we are now in power and that they will be held accountable from this point forward. There is no going back.

Honestly, I know of no situation where a police officer soothes a situation and brings people together. I'm not saying there isn't ever an act of kindness here and there but it's just not what they are about. They are about, arresting people. Period. And if you don't "suck their dick" you'll get your ass beat or, if you're brown skinned, even die. In fact, if you are brown skinned, you don't have to do anything at all.

Putting it crudely, they'll have to suck our dicks now. (I know, I have a way with words.)

The defense rests. lol

Did these imbeciles actually think that their resignations in protest would stir up public anger at the decision to discipline the assaulting officer (and those who stood by and did nothing to help the injured pedestrian)?

This is how out of touch these clowns are. They are sociopaths. Good riddance.

Those cops are suspended with the department's intent to dismiss, right? Has been a response by the Mayor, police chief? Of course, the union probably will say that the guy wasn't obeying the cops order ... or, more likely, that he wasn't responding quickly enough ... or that he reached for what appeared to be a gun when it was only the electronic gear shift or some other meaningless act.

That cop needs to be arrested! No excuses anymore. Jesus.

These smelly fish on the force are selling their very own selves out, dumb asses. They can't help themselves from expressing inner hate and lack of compassion for anyone, except their ugly supremist ideologies.
Lock them up or get them the f*ck off the force.

Purge them now.

Nope. They got a black officer to wheel him to an alley in the name of unity. Pack of smokes and a fifth of gin. Nothing to see here.

That picture with the black officer is a sneaky photo-op to deflect blame onto him. Why didn't the copy that shot him, didn't wheel him out?
Folks see the black officer and wounded white guy and you know the rest.

If you live in Nancy Pelosi's district in San Francisco, or know any Democrat who does, please share this with them. Shahid Buttar is running against her in the primary. He's very impressive. Time for a change. He's a consistutional lawyer and knows his stuff. Fck Pelosi and her two $10,000 refrigerators and 10 different types of chocolate ice cream from all over the world while 3,000 Americans were dying every 2 days from COVID-19. Clueless and out of touch plutocrat. She needs to go.

Actually, my thought was the only compassionate officer is the black officer. The cop who shot the poor guy (like he hasn't had a tough enough life already) is busy getting his story straight with his supervisor and the other officer/witnesses.

Ideology
While the group's website states it is "not a militia" and "not anti-government",[4][7] Three Percenters believe that ordinary citizens must take a stand against perceived abuses by the U.S. federal government, which they characterize as overstepping its Constitutional limits.[1] Its stated goals include protecting the right to keep and bear arms, and to "push back against tyranny".[5] The group opposes federal involvement in what they consider local affairs, and states in its bylaws that county sheriffs are "the supreme law of the land".[4]

Like other militia movements, Three Percenters believe in the ability of citizen volunteers with ordinary weapons to successfully resist the powerful U.S. military. They support this belief by claiming that only around 3% of American colonists fought the British during the American Revolution, a claim which underestimates the number of people who resisted British rule,[6] and which does not take into account the concentration of British forces in coastal cities, the similarity of weapons used by American and British forces, and French support for the colonists.[6]

What a bunch of dangerous loons. Who are of course racists.

For years, the ignorant and the willfully ignorant kept saying there's just a few bad apples? Now everyone else gets to see all the rotten apples that Black and Brown people are intimately familiar with.

I hope somehow this abhorrent, life-altering experience for this innocent man turns into some form of a blessing after he sues the city for this egregious and negligent assault.
