I take health and challenging schedule, any day of the week. I'm even okay with the 12:30pm game times coming for half our final reg games

I dont like this format, they shouldve just went straight to the Playoffs with the Top 16 Teams. Maybe the NBA does want to sneak Zion Williamson into the Playoffs like those guys assumed...

Also its freaking BS that the Raptors had an easy regular season schedule remaining and then they screw us by giving us the hardest when Play resumes... :noway:

From a quick glance, it appears we play all the teams we were originally scheduled to play in March and April, minus the teams that are not invited.

So, not sure how this has anything to do with any external factors.

What happens when some of the key players of teams catch corona and unable to play during the playoffs?

This will be an asterisked championship for whoever wins imo

No, we had a hard schedule. They just condensed it and didn't give us any easy games. I would have liked at least one Memphis game (we were supposed to have 2).

The format is better than just going to playoffs.
NBA wanted to put a plan where they can actually make more revenue than just from the playoffs, and i see no reason why they shouldn't.

Plus teams might be cold if they went straight tob playoffs. Teams can use it as warm up games & play some teams remaining on the schedule.

Some teams will make out better than some.

Tough..its Rona.

The entire team is forced to quarantine if the one player tests positive...

Several players on Dynamo Dresden in the German soccer league tested positive causing the team and coaching staff to quarantine for 14 days...but the show must go on right? So...I guess they forfeited the games they were forced to miss.

How would that work in a playoff series?

Or perhaps you dress your top 8 guys and keep the rest of the team physically distanced in case the top 8 guys need to be quarantined so that you at least have some guys available to play...

And yes...I'm sure some knucklehead is going to violate the rules of being in a bubble for such a prolonged period of time...to sneak out for a drink or a booty call...and that will make news...

Yup. A big part of the reason to do these 8 games is so that most teams could meet their contractual obligations with the regional sports networks they have deals with. Windhorst on his podcast said that doing this will help bring in somewhere along the lines of $300,000,000. This will help with how big of a pay cut players had to take.

That should be okay. Really need to hold on the the #3 overall so some team may be able to knock off Milwaukee before the Finals. :nod:

#1 and #2 would play the hot wildcard teams! We would get Orlando or Brooklyn (without Kyrie or Durant).
