One of those teams will likely grab Obi but if Wiseman isn’t taken by the warriors I could see him falling to the Wizards

Detroit also really needs a PG too

I still wouldn't count Clev and Chicago out from taking a guard if they draft before us. I think it's been made pretty clear that Clev would trade Sexton if they got a decent offer for him and you don't know what Chicago is gonna do with players on that team after pretty much cleaning house in the front offices and coaches.

Sexton is going to be really nice, they'd be foolish to move him at this early stage. They have enough guards that they'd be pressed to draft another or like you said, conider moving a young player.

Still Chicago has: Coby White, Zack and Nunn.
Cavs has: Sexton, Kevin Porter Jr., Darius Garland, Dellavedova

Cavs have to be looking for a front line player and the Bulls are praying for Wiseman. Have to think this pushes a guard to us and why Cavs and Bulls at the top spots will help tremendously.

Also if the Warriors are committed to Wiggins, then they too are praying for Wiseman in spite of trying to through off the scent.

That make the Cavs, Bulls and Warriors at the top, not a bad scenario IF we're mid-lottery.

I just hope we come away with one of L.Ball or T.Haliburton cause i'm ready to finally get a franchise PG that we haven't had in forever. If not one of those two then there's still plenty of guys i'd be happy to come out of this draft with and then hope to get a PG with the Clippers pick or trade the Clippers and Charlotte 2nd rounder to move up into the early 20's or late teens to get a PG. There's so many PG's in this draft that there's no reason to come out of this draft without one.

Cavs maylose Drummond and Detroit may lose Woods. The Hawks could use another forward.

I think we might be able to get him with our 2nd round pick tbh but I wouldn’t mind taking him at 27. I see the talent and upside with him

Was talking only about the Cavs and Bulls.

In Cleveland you have Darius Garland and Colin Sexton and doubt they would go Tillian Hayes or Tyrese Haliburton route.
Only if they have a shot at Lamelo, then mayyyyybe they draft a guard.

Otherwise, my Cav's prediction is either Obi Toppin or Issac Okoro.

While Wiseman could be the proper choice for those 3 teams the Hawks will have a hard time passing on the hometown boy Edwards.

Dan Gilbert meanwhile loves his flashy PG’s and may still select LaMelo even if they already have Sexton and Garland.

Pistons meanwhile we don’t know, they could still have the mindset of going BPA rather than drafting for position of need.

haliburton you're probably right. but really because he's just not good enough. if they really thought hayes was better than what they have i could see it. who knows if they do, opinions of him are pretty varied. outside of the hawks and trey, none of the teams mentioned have a young franchise player. they'll probably just take bpa regardless of what they have already.

Pistons are hot for Hayes, and Im almost sure they would not pass on Lamelo. Best case for us might be GS and Atlanta picking ahead us if we were lucky enough to move up to the 3rd pick.

i got him in my 2nd tear after lamelo & edwards. there's some questions but in this draft i would be happy if they take him. needs to shoot better but who doesn't. it might take him a little longer than some other guys though and that can backfire in new york.

Hayes is going to need time. His right hand is not as strong and teams will attach that. Once that's worked on he'll be really really nice, but that's not going to happen right away.

No reason, you're right.
Given even the very worst case, we can theorectically come out with no less than 2 guards, regardless the positioning.
Having Walt Perrin here, gives me alot of confidence.

that's my biggest fear about him too. i don't expect him to look great year 1. he needs to tighten up his handle a little, work on his right hand, work on his shot, it's gonna take time. and we're not really a take time city.
