Interesting that they have Mamadi Diakite at #25 and Amar Sylla at #27. I think some of these guys were mentioned in this thread as potential second round guys so it's interesting to see them make the jump into the late first round.

Sylla is interesting and being compared as an 18 year old Siakam.

I thought Sylla decided not to declare this year?

Definitely do not like bane,

Josh Green would be incredible. I'm not sure I'd agree with taking Chris Smith over Desmond Bane though.

His jumper looks funky and doesn't he have a short wingspan?

If a player can shoot 44% from 3, don't care how funky it looks as long as he isn't shooting from the hip or granny Smith.

Yes his wingspan is short. If it was say 6'8, then he'd be a lottery pick with the likes of Okoro and Vassell.

I wouldn't draft someone because he is shooting well. I think the team has been looking for players with good first step, as they can improve their shooting, but you can't improve their first step.

I will continue to dream that somehow we draft Jaden McDaniels.

Did you send that to McCaw, so that he can suddenly create for himself?

What happens to this stat if we make it 200 rebounds instead of 201? 30 blocks instead of 31? 30 steals instead of 33? The numbers listed are very strange and arbitrary

McCaw is just passive. He doesn't try and do too much. He's happy just being a glue guy.

I mean lonzo shot well in college with a funky shot and had to reform it to make it work at the NBA level.

Of all the wings I've taken a look at, I like him the least.

Ah it doesn't look that bad. Maybe the combination of his strength and short arms makes it look that way. Kind of like he snaps, but it does seem pretty quick. His follow through seems a bit low and not consistent.

Lonzo had the ball start to the left of centre so looked really weird for a righty.

Bane, my guy. Really hoping we draft him, he'd be a perfect fit with this team.

I still haven't seen Karim Mane's pop up any mock drafts. Is he staying in 2020 draft? Last I heard he filed the necessary paperwork to remain eligible.

If he goes undrafted, does he choose the G-League over the NCAA? Or does he go the College route?

I would be on board if Masai could sign him as an undrafted rookie and assign him to the 905. It would put a solid young combo guard into our development system, albeit unproven, but his measurements alone are intriguing. It would be a low risk, low cost move, with a lot of upside (assuming he was available).

Borisa Simanic? 22 years old so automatically eligible for the draft. 7'0 203 lbs. Might be a Pokusevski 4 years later, not gaining weight. :reporter:

His is in the Euroleague this year. Is a backup but maybe good to use #58 for his rights, then go sign some undrafted players.

This is from last year when he shot 35.5% from 3. Though small minutes and small sample size, still he is shooting 50% from 3.

He hasn't made an official decision yet, but he also didn't hire an agent so I have a feeling he might go to college or joins the dleague team. But hopefully I'm wrong and he stays in the draft so we can pick him up late.
