Lol you were waiting for Marvin to get bought out so you could finally say that. It's not just UNC, it's UNC and Kentucky for some reason. If you're a Hornets fan, you gotta be OK with UNC and Kentucky to some extent because a good number of those guys will wear teal and purple at some point.

Roy's been going after tier 1.5 prospects for a while now. Colby White was their first top 10 pick since Harrison Barnes in 2012. It's not really all that surprising we haven't drafted any of their players in the late lottery. Most of their guys are staying 2+ years.

Depending on if you think this year is a fluke or not, I think it's probably a better strategy to actually win the Tournament then rotating 85% of your roster every season. Like are any of those players from UNC's 2015-2017 back/back national title game appearances averaging 10 pts/game on NBA rosters right now? I would rather have Joel Berry/Marcus Paige/Brice Johnson type recruiting class than most of the 1 & done super classes for the college team of choice.

Continuity is definitely undervalued in college basketball. So many of the one and dones either never live up to their hype or aren't good enough to win a title with anyway without a great team around them so chasing them rarely pays off with a title unless you can just plug them into an already very good team and hope they push you over the top.

Wow he was nervous at the start. Clanged in a few in a row for a solid 18

7th most minutes in the NBA....
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

That's nuts! From a "bit" player last season to top 7 in PT this season?

That's got to take a toll.

Its one of the main reasons I want Miles and PJ to get big minutes every single night. PJ has handled it pretty well for the most part.

No coincidence he got a game off and came back looking stout against the Knicks. He's kind of hit a wall and it's not surprising, considering the pro schedule has more than 2x as many games as college and his minutes are pretty high.

If you’re implying that Miles hasn’t, it’s ironic because I just looked at their stats. Miles is scoring 1.3 more ppg, shooting 2% worse and averaging the exact same 5.5 rebounds per game while playing more SF.

They’re both about dead even, which is 1) a good look for PJ and 2) proof that Miles has gotten a hell of a lot better since the start of this season, when those numbers would not be comparable.

Not convinced ignoring statistics is the way, either.

Devonte doing shoutouts for $60. Not a bad price compared to others.

Shocker.

Doncic doing more and more to become my most liked non-Charlotte player:

“The Dallas Mavericks star, who is a finalist for the award alongside Bam Adebayo and Brandon Ingram, said he believes Charlotte Hornets guard Devonte' Graham is more deserving.

"Take me off the list and put Devonte' Graham on there. I don't deserve to be on there," Doncic told Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News”.

Classy - and for him to even know who Tae is and how much he improved is awesome.
