I think Kyrie should just retire. All these tensions and protests won’t end anytime soon, and would probably drag on for months or years even. What’s he supposed to do then? Boycott the games? He probably lost all motivation to play.

They've all heard him talk before. Lol. I knew Lebron skipped the call and had an immediate response as to why. Didn't realize that our boys skipped the call too. Good for them.

The thing too, is that Kyrie is one of the VP's. He had to be privy to the decision making, from the get-go.
So why all the dissension, days later???

Kyrie approved the decision to play in Orlando, where there was a resounding 28-0 vote to resume play. Here is what Woj says:

“ Sources say Irving asked, as an injured player, if he would count among the Nets' allotted 35 people should he want to join the Orlando, Florida, bubble. Could he sit in the stands to cheer on his teammates? Use a sauna for his rehab?

He had a question about NBA sponsors on campus, and whether they would be supplying players with products. A union official asked him for an example, and Irving mentioned a popular adult beverage -- before insisting that he had indeed simply shared an example -- and wondered what food might be provided to players under league partnerships.

All in all, his inquiries weren't of weighty consequence.”

He’s a fraud.

He's a total Flat Earth Fruitcake.

He's not even playing.
He's injured. OUT For the Season.

Exactly! Also with KD saying he won’t play this season, that’s basically their season.

They're currently in 7th place, by half a game.
The Nets are either going up against the Raptors, or the Bucks, in the 1st Round.

That's what, 4 games? -- 5 at most?

If guys decided not to play, and their team ended up winning, would they get a ring as well? would that count as a championship on their record?

Wizards got a tough road ahead. They're 5.5 Games out of 8th place.
It would take a virtual miracle for them to actually get in.

Yes.
They were on the team, for most of the year.

They'll get the ring.
Not saying whether they deserve it.

I think they just need to cut the lead to 4 games or below to have a one game elimination after that 8 games. with kyrie and KD out, the nets could easily be eliminated.

Just waiting for Jaylen to make a statement and show the world just how tiny Kyrie Irving's brain really is.

Together, Adebayo, Fox, Kuzma, Mitchell and Tatum have hoped the collective voice of such a starry group of elite young talent could shape the league's thinking on sharing in the risk on insurance not only for them, but a broader swath of players returning to the season's restart in Orlando, sources said.

For players on the brink of maximum contract extensions worth north of $100 million, insurance policies that run the length of the season's truncated finish -- July 1 to Oct. 13 -- could cost in the neighborhood of $500,000 to protect against the financial loss of a career-ending injury, sources said. Even with policies, it can still be difficult to prove to insurance companies that future earnings were impacted by an injury --- unless it is career-ending.

I still think they should prepare for the draft and try to play summer league in July instead and get ready to welcome players back for camp in September. Try to squeeze a second asterisk season with out of shape players is folly. And better believe players up for extensions should be concerned about injury.

Disney plan is fine. Wait three months and start camps there in THREE months in September. In fact you probably want to get players there in August to get some extra group and personalize workouts to get them into shape with all that off time.

Of course Kyrie's objections are confusing and off base. Don't see why he'd be against a bubble plan. Isn't the whole world really a bubble to flat-earthers?
