The Golden State Warriors and PF/C Domantas Sabonis have mutual interest in completing a multi-year deal. Sabonis on his future, “I mean I just won a championship here, and even before that I made my home here with this team. I love it here man. The organization, the fans, everyone has made me feel special since arriving. I hope to finish my career with this franchise. Hopefully we can get it done.”

I've heard rumors where Sabonis is looking to cash in and become the highest paid big man free agent this offseason..

interesting interesting...will a massive 2 year offer from hoffa potentially beat out a 4-5 year offer somewhere else.

Lol I’ve seen your comments bro. I can finally talk about free agency. Sabonis is a top priority here. Having his bird rights, and a high FA desired destination rating I assume will help our cause. However, there is a number we won’t go over, so we’ll see what happens. You have a lot of bread, and a solid core. I’m curious to see how you’re gonna spend it. Especially with one named Siakam who you’ll have to bring back at some point. :wink:

i have to decide this offseason who to move ahead with in JJJ and Siakam, i cannot carry both on this team long term, which will impact on who i decide to land this offseason

People inside the league have heard rumors that the Miami Heat will be ready to offer a multi-year contract, with a NTC attached, for Siakam next offseason. I don't believe it, but you never know... 8-)

Boston is in a good spot to potentially make a play for Siakam in a year as they have over $400 coming off the books that year in salaries. Also if any of the teams with a ton of cap space this year like (charlotte or det)

bish gave a projected start date maybe July 1st...gives him about 2 weeks to turn the rosters over and make sure everyone salaries are up to date.

I assume he will update us over the next day or so now that we are officially done with the season.
