It will happen. I don't blame the players for having trepidation but I don't see them leaving all that money on the table either.
Regardless, beside the talent being much better, this pretty much a glorified summer league.

If the players don't play, they lose salary this year. Next year the owners rip up the CBA, NO players get paid, and next year in renegotiating a new CBA, some are reporting that NBA owners will ask for a hard cap to make up for their losses. Players will NEVER get that back. 10 Billion dollars is on the line in this decision.

So when you have fear about the season resuming just remember that money wins. Money ALWAYS wins.
