How lucky are we to have this dude on our team? (Terence Davis)

Post#1 » by Brinbe » Wed Jun 17, 2020 7:51 pm

Read on Twitter

Such a genuine humble hardworking dude. Bet on himself to go from undrafted to one of the best rookies in the league playing a big role on a top 3 team in the league. Already by far one of my fave athletes in any sport, real talk.

Feel so grateful we have a team of athletes that I truly like and believe in as players and people. There's not one bad person on the team and it's rare to have such a crew in team sports. From the head coach to the GM/front office to the players themselves. All handle themselves with such class and they so strongly represent the city and the sport in a positive light.

And you see it from the players too as that tweet shows. They genuinely like it here and feel nothing but love from the people because they are a real part of our community.

It's slow-going news-wise right now so I feel we need some positive vibes to remember what a great situation to have this team to root for and support.

Powell is a bit older so he won't really be in the next combo of players. TD is going enough to match up with one of our draft picks moving forward...

He’s only 27. He’s going to play for another 6-7 years.

Does Nurse feel the same way? He seems to like Patrick fricken McCaw better.

Norm, FVV, Siakam and OG will be the overlap for all of the championships over the next decade.

It's a groom and keep humble so his next contract isn't too big, thing.

As much as I think McCaw is not as good, he plays the right way. TD has been sent the message that he needs to play the right way. That is best for him in the long run. If he improves, then I expect he'll get lots of minutes next year and a staggeringly large contract for an undrafted player in his second year. Although, who knows what next season will look like.

There are so many possible reasons for him to miss it here. Also consider that even if that is what he's talking about which is a big reach, he hasn't experienced his life as an average citizen in Canada. His experience in Canada is in the context of being an NBA player.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Where did we play preseason games in Canada this year? I'd assume he's been in Toronto most of the time he's
been here.

Also I bet the Toronto love is better then most of these guys get in their home towns/states

they held their preseason in Quebec but that really wasn't my point.

Let's hope Nurse and McCaw don't run him out of town
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

nurse is clearly doing this to create good habits for him, next season he'll get more time/responsibility for sure. Im also sure nurse knows that td would be the better option right now but hes trying to teach davis and at the same time giving the man whos been here longer more of a chance.

Nah, McCaw is just terrible.
