Snakebites wrote:Yikes. I’ve invested in rebound heavy guys, and even the non-heavy ones were fairly cheap (Battier even had a good ratio), and I’m still in a spot where I’m not sure I can finish my team. I mean, I suppose I CAN, but there will be blood...

The struggle is real.

I know on paper this was easier than the other game, but it sorta doesn’t FEEL easier.

My last 3 guys need 22.5 boards and have 26.2 FGA to get them. :o

There are a number of guys who get you around 9 boards for 5 fga's. So you'd have 21.2 fga's to get 13.5 boards for two more bench players. And your starting lineup looks pretty normal except Grant at the point, which doesn't look like a problem, particularly with Manu.

I think we'll end up seeing a lot of teams with decent benches that just don't have as much shooting as they normally would.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Always wondered if maybe we should have a penalty (not this game) for not doing so or at least acknowledge you aren't because of the device you're on. Mostly laziness I would guess.

Please note we'll be going to a one hour clock for rounds 6,7, and 8. I will update the draft OP.

Hey guys, my first draft here, didn't see this discussion thread.

Any thoughts on my team? I'm kind of trying to build a 95/96 Bulls here:

XXXX
MJ
Kirilenko
Shawn Marion
Gobert

I’m not gonna lie - I under estimated how hard it would be to get these 65.0 rebounds.....

Damnit Ness. I knew I should’ve taken Dunn or Evans with one of my last picks.

Everyone is prob just gonna end up with a bench of 3 centres lol.

Yikes I really should’ve made a Bogut type pick last round. This looks painful.

DN’s draft looks great. Paul, Kawhi and Ewing and a ton of rebounds from Evans and Chandler.

I have a feeling we are going to reach round 7/8 and there's not going to be any player with X amount of FGAs and X amount of REBs

Certainly a challenge
