4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years

All 6 first round match-ups (there are two byes) are ready for votes in the polls. You are encouraged to leave comments as well but it isn't required.

So far we have four or five votes in each of the 6 first round match-ups and I'd like to see more. The polls automatically close about 7pm. Please vote if you haven't.

Suggestions on breaking ties are welcome.

Going to pull a Laimbeer here - once again, a game has bumped into real life. I could be unavailable from tomorrow afternoon until Saturday evening. I'll be able to post second round matchups tonight. After that we can pause the playoffs or if anyone wants to step in, please let me know.

I’d prefer going to write up votes in Rd 2, with this little votes in the polls not sure it will be satisfying.

Yes it has been disappointing it looks like we'll have to resolve ties with the randomizer. we will go to the normal voting for round two.

I may reconsider this. We are getting about eight votes with clear winners.

I’d rather have write up votes too.

I might use 2011 Love again in future games. It's a nice middle ground between not having to pay the FGAs for his peak season, but still getting a 20/15, 41% 3pt shooting player instead of malaise feeling of his Cavs years.

By popular demand, we'll be returning to traditional voting!

Again, I could be unavailable from tomorrow afternoon until Saturday evening. I'll be able to post second round matchups tonight. After that we can pause the playoffs or if anyone wants to step in, please let me know.

I guess I’ll have to wait for my opponent to post, seeing as he doesn’t have a roster page

I would have voted but it should be the participants that vote and outsiders only if it's needed.

I think outsiders are better voters, as they 'have no horse in this race'

Yeah, I think it's fine. Most feel if someone is a regular player they are welcome to vote in games they aren't in.
