I think Florida is messing up the NBA & MLS plans of return-to-play.

Not the state, it's the people. Total selfish behavior by so many all over the country.

To be honest, I don't think getting Mitchell puts you much closer to a title than Tatum/Brown.

I love you, but youre wearing some seriously Celtics tinted glasses. Team USA shouldnt be a justification for not doing a move [FIBA is a fundamentally different Game, starting with allowing zone defense and being much more physical and disadvantageous to guards], and Mitchell is definitely bringing you closer to a title than Jaylen.

Mitchell is better than Jaylen no doubt

The General Board never disappoints does it. Trying to explain to a Pacers fan that Myles Turner isn’t a borderline all-star & get called a troll lol.

I'd have difficulty imagining any situation where Utah would want to trade Mitchell as a good a player as he is.

If the guy is intent on leaving (just speculation based on recent events), then trading him would become an option.

Yeah if I'm Utah I would make him turn down the full max contract SEVERAL times in a row before I even considered moving him. He actually seems to like Utah too. Whatever is less than zero, that's what the chance is that this happens.

Meh...I suspect being on the Wizards also had quite a bit to do with that. If he was on a team with title aspirations I think he plays.

Yep. Logical move by Bertans. Why risk injury or getting COVID? Nothing to play for anymore. He's proven his worth already and is just waiting for his payday. No need to mess that up.

Can you guys confirm that if a player sits out, then they are not included in the roster for the playoffs, thus considered NO ring if their team wins?

I've seen variations of Brown for Beal and Brown for Mitchell and while I'm not necessarily against either move I don't like a Kemba Beal or Kemba Mitchell backcourt from a defensive standpoint. First things first lets play these playoffs but I lean toward moving Kemba or Hayward for younger talent to add to the Brown, Smart, Tatum core. I'm not convinced Kemba, Hayward, Tatum + non-MVP allstar will be enough to win a title. Still lacking that MVP level player unless Tatum is already there. Conversely if Tatum does turn into an MVP when he's 25-30 I want guys like Brown and Smart to be around as they will also be in their primes.
