NBA Disney World rules revealed: Details of how the bubble will work as league plans to resume play in Orlando
By Colin Ward-Henninger & Jack Maloney | June 23, 2020

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-disney-world-rules-revealed-details-of-how-the-bubble-will-work-as-league-plans-to-resume-play/
June 30-July 7: In-market training camps
Individual workouts will be mandatory at this point, but team workouts will still be prohibited. At this point, head coaches will be allowed to participate.

July 7-11: Teams travel to Orlando
Teams will take either a bus or chartered flight to Orlando, and once they arrive, everyone will have to stay in their rooms until they test negative for COVID-19 twice.

July 9-29: Training camps in Orlando
At this point, teams may begin group workouts and practices. There will be regular COVID-19 testing, and players will be expected to remain on campus. If a player leaves, they will be subject to extra testing, as well as a 10-14-day quarantine period.

Starting on the 22nd, teams will begin playing scrimmages against other teams staying in their hotel. Each team will have three scrimmages.

July 30-Aug. 14: Seeding games
Each team will play eight "regular season" seeding games. Once teams are eliminated, they will immediately depart from the bubble environment.

Really tho...don’t think it happens but I’d do that trade very quickly

Not me. Brown is better than Mitchell, who is not exactly a sniper. Plus Mitchell needs the ball in his hands, like Westbrook. Brown doesn't.

I wouldn’t do the trade either but to suggest Brown is better than Mitchell is ridiculous.
Brown’s the 3rd/4th option on the 5th best team in the league right now. Mitchell’s the #1 option on the 7th best team in the league.

Ditto.
I wouldn't do that Trade. Just because of the current fit.
Mitchell is a better player than Brown, though.

Again, Mitchell is a 1-2, Brown's a 2-3, and Tatum is a 3-4.
Interesting thing to ponder, for the future.

But as of now. Mitchell isn't going anywhere, and neither is Brown.

I get the fit argument of Mitchell and Tatum with Donovan needing the ball in his hands but from a pure talent acquisition I’d do that deal every time.

I believe AB is the 2nd opt-out that's not injury-related. Bertans is the other one.

EDIT: My bad. AB is the 3rd. Ariza also opted out to spend more time with his son.

A few transactions:
• Rockets sign David Nwaba, waive Isaiah Hartenstein.
• Nets sign Tyler Johnson, waive Theo Pinson.
• Grizzlies sign Anthony Tolliver.
• Clippers likely signing Joakim Noah.

That actually hurts the Lakers a lot in my opinion.

So two opt-outs from guys who have special reasons of fatherhood, and one agreed with a team that wasn't going to make the playoffs anyway.

FWIW, Bertans also has a daughter who's only 1.5 years old.

Lots of these guys are fathers. But Trevor Ariza has the special reason of messy custody situation. And Avery Bradley has the special reason of a kid whose health won't allow him into the bubble, plus a couple of yet younger kids, for whom the bubble period would be a LONG separation from Dad.

That there will surely be other married players who don't take their kids into the bubble doesn't much undermine Avery's story. Nor does whatever his additional motivations for not going are, e.g. politics.

I won't criticize Brogdon for taking the risk of being a protest leader, given how much, much riskier protests are in other countries, or at times were in the US. But it was a risk. So I hope Jaylen, Enes at all were luckier.

Alex Len of the Sacramento Kings has tested positive for COVID. Buddy Hield and Jabari Parker too.

At what point do they scrap the whole thing and just prepare for next season?

I mean there are going to be positive tests. The league knows that.

It won’t matter unless LeBron gets it

I would feel better if they weren't headed to Florida.

Spoiler:
This is the Governor of Florida btw:
