I only saw a bit of it... It looked like Wilson had a good game. He had a double/double, shot the 3-ball well and was +9.

No TW guys, Mason and Reynolds must be with the Bucks. Adams was back and had one of his worst games of the year.

Caught most of the 4th & both OT’s. Aside from one nice chase down shot alter, Wilson was disastrous down the stretch. The Herd are now 1-4 with him in the lineup.

The problem is it's not accurate...

The Herd are 2-2 in the last four games with Wilson.

In the last "disastrous" game. He had a D/D, was the leading scorer with a TS% over 60% and was +9 in 38 minutes. The actual problem was the team was -11 without him on the court and his backup was -26 in just 15 mins. Other issues were Adams TS% was under 40% on 22-shots and the best player on the team (February's GL player of the month, Frank Mason) didn't play because he was called up to the Bucks... So, yeah, the Herd had a lot of issues in the 106-108 road loss to the 28-13 Charge, but Wilson wasn't one of them.

The other loss was the game where they were outscored 50-20 in the 4Q and Buford had that glorious meltdown. I don't know the other details other then the entire starting lineup, including Wilson, died in the 4Q. I think Mason had 6 ot 7 turnovers in the quarter which was a big issue, but I'm sure a bunch of things were going on.

2-3 with Wilson this year, I messed up one of those Delaware wins. I was at the loss against the Skyhawks & watched DJ pretty intently. Not trying to be an "eye test" dick head, but are you watching these games? Wilson struggles to handle, botches passes & misses open shots. If you didn't know better you'd have no idea he's the three year NBA vet out there.

Yeah, I watch some Herd Basketball.

Simply, what you're saying isn't matching with his stats. His TS% is 55%, his ASTR is 3/2 , his BPM is 1.8 and he's +55 in those 5 games.

I said he was “disastrous down the stretch” against Canton the other day. Go back & watch the fourth & both OT’s or read the game log & tell me that’s not accurate.

Hoping Justin Patton becomes the athletic defensive-minded big they can bring off the bench. Yesterday, his shooting wasn't great, but he had 14 points, 12 boards, 7 blocks, 2 steals, and 5 assists/4 to's.

Right, he's got a big frame, but I can see his arms aren't as heavily muscled as they could be. There's room for development physically as well as mentally - gotta cut down on the sloppy to's. He's got some nice stats since joining The Herd - just 6 games. Per 36 stats of 5.0 blocks(!), 1.7 steals, and 35.7% from 3, 9.7 rebounds. Christian Wood's going to make a lot of money this offseason, and I think Patton has more upside - particularly on defense. Still just 22.

It's just your complete narrative about him.

You complained that the team is 1-4 with him, but ignore that his BPM is 1.8, that he's +55 with the team and the team is -50 without him in those games. You also remarked how he's missing shots right after a game where he was the leading scorer on excellent efficiency. So yeah, your narrative here is inaccurate.

Like I mentioned, it doesn't matter at all. I'm just pointing it out. For some reason, there's a click here that loves to be hypocritical of Wilson. I'm thinking it's because he was so bad his rookie year. Like, Brett Favre bad - 8-)

... It looks like the cool chicks just aren't going to forgive him for that.

Relatively speaking, huge shame for the Herd season to end like this. Best record in the league, playoffs would’ve been great for the franchise/players/community. Lot of people lost a lot of money.

On the bright side DJ Wilson won’t be further exposed by a guy who’ll be suiting up in Latvia next season.
