6'5.5" wingospan though :o

Kadeem's wingospan is 6'9" and he can guard at least 3 positions, 4 is the other team goes small which makes he great for switching on pick and rolls. We already have Peters for a small spark plug type of PG off the bench if we want to go that way. This makes no sense to me.

Forgot about Lamar Peters

Kadeem is barely 6'1".

We really need to give Lamar Peters a fair shot.

I stand corrected. I went back on line and saw an NBA.com advanced state page on him that said 6'2.25" and 200 lbs. My bad. But that still doesn't change my point. Kadeem is an excellent and tough defender who will get to the hoop and mix it up underneath our own basket. The guy is a worker and presumably a good teammate. I still don't get it.

This is why I don't like the signing. Kadeem a legitimate back-up on an NBA team. We already have a small offensive-minded PG in Lamar Peters who played well last year in Westchester for us. In fact, many of us were begging for the Knicks front office to bring him up for a look-see but then COVID happened. I'm saying that this kid can't play, I just don't see the purpose behind the move.

I want to edit my answer to maybe he can be, though. He can shoot well enough and he’s got heart. He’s just short.

So what happens when opposing teams run him off of 1/5 PnRs?

That they got a similarly skilled (we hope) younger player more likely to want to stay on the 2 way deal?
Even if they are a wash talent wise, one guy is half an nba career younger.

They like this kid more than Peters?
The Knicks want both of them in the shortest NBA backcourt since the 1950s?
They did it just to piss Wingo off?

Interesting to see how this pans out. Knicks have new pro player scouts now, or at least a new person in charge, correct?

The problem with Kadeem isn't that he's around your height. It's that he's around your age

Yes, very interesting insight into how this new front office thinks. I guess the way NBA defenses are nerfed now, a player like Michael Adams has a chance in the NBA again.

Knicks passed on more traditional young scoring point guard types in Trevon Duval, Matt Morgan and our own Lamar Peters, but can't argue with Harper's G-league production. Dare I say, Jared Harper feels like the kind of player Isaiah Thomas would have drafted.

I was watching that show and I couldn't understand why Marlo killed that girl (I think her name was Devaughn).
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

I believe in Walt Perrin. He can shoot and attack. It’s about time we start getting all around players.
