Edit:
Poirier gave it a go, and came back in the game.

Tacko back in the saddle for Maine, at 11-10 on 5-5 and 0-1 FTs, with 7 blocks and 1 assist in 20 minutes so far.

Poirier just made it to a Double-Double, as well.

After watching Fall and Poirier on the same team, I think Fall brings more to the table. Tacko had a lot of blocks but changed at least that many shots again. Poirier doesn't have that impact on the game. Tacko is now much more aggressive in the post than Poirier.

Tacko is really starting to play with an edge out there. He's just moving guys. Seeing the whole floor on defense. Basically imposing his will on the game. He's playing with a ton of confidence right now.

I like that play at 2:30: dude is hanging all over Tacko, who flushes a dunk right on his head and then lets him know about it. Little chippy, but he'll need that attitude as guys are going to get into the habit of hacking him due to his size.

But the real nice sign was seeing his gait while running down the court. It's looking smoother than it did in summer league, to my eyes at least. Those running mechanics are sooooo important for a guy his size. Not only does it conserve energy when the mechanics are good, but protects from injury. I'm glad the team is developing Mr. Tacko gradually. He's a unique specimen, requiring a unique approach to bring out his unique skills.
Hey you! Can we come together?

If Tacko didn't have basketball, he'd still make an impact in the world. Super smart kid. If you haven't had a chance yet, listen to the "Anything Is Poddable" podcast with him and Grant talking about the NBA big man. Just really insightful. I don't know what this kid's gonna be here in Boston but everyone knows I have been driving this bandwagon from Day 1 and I'm rooting for the kid.

If I'm correct. The Two-Way contract players, can play in the NBA games, for the remainder of the NBA Regular Season.
But that, they won't be able to play in the Post-Season/Playoffs. Which, they might want to change that, this year.

I'm hoping for Carsen and the rest of the kids. There's a small window of opportunity to make an impact before the playoffs start and maybe earn some minutes when the tournament starts. For Carsen, it's extraordinarily simple. If he does not hit shots, he has no value to this team. He hasn't done it so far this year, even in the G. Still, he'll get at least one more shot next year but he's certainly capable of helping this team. But starting now would be a great boost to his chances.

Every time I see Tacko all I can think of is: Imagine being 7'5" and reasonably athletic/coordinated. What would your life even be like?

Well, I guess the answer is you'd be in the NBA...
