I'm not sure they would have used all of the cap space had they landed Bosh, probably would have made another move for another player via trade or FA the next season.

Well if they would have resigned BG on that 6/54 deal the previous year and signed Bosh that would have been all their cap space and they actually did use all their cap space that summer anyway.

Oh I remember, we went on to sign Boozer and then focus on the bench. I think the process would have changed a bit with Bosh since many viewed him as a legit franchise guy vs Boozer who was viewed as a solid player but not franchise level.

Yes I agree about the assessment but if you signed BG to the extension the year before, Bosh would have taken all your cap room.

They probably received some ruling like, "nothing that would affect the bottom line of the NBA would be accepted."

I don't think the BG extension would have happened so that's partly why I talk about future cap room after Bosh.

Well I mean he tried to accept the Bulls deal, it just happened after their deadline. The Bulls just had to say yes to their own offer.

I remember, it was really dumb for it not to have taken place. Really frustrating to watch unfold.

Yes, so my point was that if they reconsidered, had Rose, BG, Deng, Noah, Asik, Gibson under contract and had room to sign Bosh.

Probably still end up with Bogans being the token starter

Bosh over boozer would have been a game changer. Bosh extended his game to the 3 point line and he would have worked a lot better in thib's defense

Would've, could've, should've, just like Lebron said he was close to signing with the Knicks. Revisionist history is meaningless. Fact is, Bosh did not sign so why even bring this back up, only to basically torment Bulls fans?

and it probably means miami gets boozer. Miami greatest strength was their defense and Bosh was their most important piece to it. Would have been funny seeing them try and to get cbooz to blitz and recover the way Bosh could.

I'll be more curious if anti-Trump statements are allowed.

Trump, Hong Kong, pro life, second amendment, playstaion over xbox....the options are endless.

seems like a mistake btw, just keep it simple and do a patch on all jerseys.
