Originals:
Handmaid's Tale (I haven't watched, but everyone raves about the first season)
High Fidelity was solid
Veronica Mars' whole series
Really liked Catch-22
Castle Rock is good.
11.22.63 is one of the best mini-series in recent memory

Series on FX
Justified
What We Do in the Shadows
Sons of Anarchy (first three seasons are killer)
Archer is my favorite comedy

And then a bunch of shows on the networks. I watch:

Agents of Shield
Preacher
Cougar Town
Happy Endings
Better of Ted
Bourdain's No Reservations
Cheers
Community
Broad City
Scrubs
Brooklyn 99
The Rookie
The Resident
You're the Worst
The 100
iZombvie

Wow. Looking at that list I probably watch more on it than any other service.

TERRIERS. I will scream it from the treetops until you philistines take notice. "Terriers" is the grown-up version of "Veronica Mars." Same locale, but gingerly walking the line of sobriety while navigating fresh divorce. And I love "Veronica Mars," so don't take that as slander. A friend of "Terriers" is a friend of Chonestown.

Please note, I do not have a lot of friends.

Always hear how great it is, in conjunction with how pissed off I'll be because of the cancellation.

I'm not even pissed it got cancelled. It's a tight abbreviated season with a conclusion that both wrapped the series up and would have allowed it to continue. It's very much a die young, leave a perfect corpse sort of scenario. Imagine if "VM" died after Season 1. Same sort of thing, though the Paul Rudd episode in Season 3 is probably my favorite episode of the whole series.

You got to get on "Terriers," my man. Hell, the teacher from "Rushmore" has a memorable starring role in one installment. C'mon now.

Just saw The Shield is on Hulu. One of the all time best. Haven't seen it since it's original run. I'm in.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I've never seen Rushmore but I know I'll hate it because Jason Shwartzman is the worst.

But I'll be binging Terriors all weekend.

Prior to everything shutting down, I picked up the complete "Shield" for $30.00 on dvd. I know it gets better, and Walton Goggins and all that, but I've been sidetracked and haven't given it the attention I should. Probably didn't help I just came off a re-watch of "The Wire" and got sucked into "Brooklyn 99" in a major way.

Hot take: "Bottle Rocket" is better and eminently more watchable than "Rushmore."

Looking forward to getting slagged on these here internets for my questionable taste.

You either love Wes Anderson or you don't. Seems to be the consensus I've encountered.

I hated him until I saw Grand Budapest Hotel which I loved so I went and watched Fantastic Mr. Fox and I loved that and then I watched Isle of Dogs and I really liked that one so maybe I need to revisit everything else.

The Will Ferrell/Rachel McAdams Eurovision movie was pretty entertaining. If you know it's based on a real thing and that the real thing is actually more over the top than the movie, it's even better.

I thought it was great. Not at all what I was expecting. I was thinking it'd probably be a much worse Step Brothers, but it was really actually quite sweet and showed some depth.

Yeah probably true, he definitely has a unique style to all his work. Im in the love category. The Royal tenenbaums is one of my all time favorite movies.

I think his movies are overly fussy, which is weird to criticize someone over dedication to craft, but hey. "Bottle Rocket" didn't have the budget to allow indulgence, so I love it. If nothing else, he's one of the best in selecting music to fit his movies.

Agreed. Comedically it was on par with something like Blades of Steel but it had a lot more heart. Kind of a throwback to a 90's rom com in some regards.

We actually finished writing in May. Just waiting for Covid to either kill us or bounce so we can shoot it.

Can you hint at the timeline of the series? Tween until he started playing for UNR?
