Should the Warriors play some games outside of the Bubble?

Post#1 » by Mylie10 » Sun Jun 28, 2020 10:28 pm

I have read that some teams outside of the Bubble want to play some games. Probably wouldn’t be a whole bunch, but a good way for players and coaches to get back on the same page.

I would love to see Steph, Klay, Draymond, and Wiggins play together for a few games to get a good feel for future decision making.

Not sure all of the Players will want to do it, but I’d bet Klay wants to play.

It would be beneficial to get the guys on the floor so we can assess what's missing.

I d love to see 5 or 6 Warriors games. but Kerr said a couple weeks ago the team isn’t interested in playing other teams and instead will hold a summer camp..

I think they want to keep Bender’s talent under wraps..

Yes but not everyone. I definitely do not want to see dray, Steph and klay play. I want to see more of smiley, poole, mulder, and bowman. I want to see who can be a rotational player next season.

I am only supportive of having the youngsters play that want an edge for next year. Keep the veterans away as there will be run of covid cases. My suggestion to any young player is that if you can afford it, sit out the rest of the year. Especially that these games would be meaningless.

Those teams invited to the bubble have different considerations.

Bring the team and the SC Warriors to Vegas and just scrimmage a bunch for a couple weeks, but no need to play against other teams.

I don't want them playing any games until the next season.

While 22 teams are having to deal with team practices, game plans, logistics of any training... this is a great chance to just use the time for individual skill improvement.

Warriors can deal with getting in game shape or learning sets and teammate tendencies when next season comes around. For now, I would want Paschall doing nothing but working on his jumper and lateral quickness... Poole on his jumper and handles... etc etc.

I want these dudes coming into camp next year and we are all saying "wow, he really improved _____". If it takes a third of the season to get in game shape and learn how to play together, so be it.
