So good, they even put it in the game. Chambers could pull off that dunk in game if he was just inside the 3-point line.

man,,,getting dunked on is commonplace. most of the time players ALLOW other players to dunk or are half-@ssed about aggressively defending it.

better thread would be players who stop dunkers cold

To be clear, I'm not talking about just anybody who's been dunked on. These are the guys who...when someone says their name...the first thing people think of is them getting dunked on.

I'm talking about:

Mozgov
Shawn Bradley
Chris Gatling
Brandon Knight
Fredric Weis (the GOAT of this category)

Who else am I missing?

I remember mozgod for going off on the warriors in the finals.
Bradley for getting dunked on
Gatling as a good playuer
Knight as a good player that could have been great if not for confidence issues
Weis.... sorry bro I tried.

Rudy Gobert

Wiggins dunked on him twice in a game if I remember.

A lot of these guys aren’t “best” remembered for getting dunked on.

Indeed, after you get past Frederic Weis, the list grows thin quickly.

This one SHOULD be that way, but its incredibly underrated -- IMO one of the best in game dunks of all time, over Boston Nachbar, who isn't going to be remembered for much else:

the stuck landing is just an outrageous touch. Young Crash was one of the all time NBA athletes.

Pretty sure about half of the people in this thread didn't actually read the first post. Ah well.

Vincent Yarbrough only played one season in the NBA, and his career highlight was getting reverse dunked on by Kobe.

The first thing I think of when I hear "Anthony Tolliver"

Amar'e also might've put Michael Olowokandi in the same category...

Kendrick Perkins is up there for me. Brandon Knight's career ended the night he tried to contest DeAndre Jordan.

Some guy named Jordan and Horace Grant became well known after "The Dunk"
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

Couldn't have told you his name. He's just "that 7 foot dude Vince jumped over"

I didn't know either. I googled Vince Carter France dunk to figure it out.

Andy V when he took the D from D Wade for me. That was as embarrassing as it gets!
