The timeline of FC Dallas positive cases:

June 3 – One player tests positive, 2nd player in MLS. (Reported by MLS)
June 18-19 – Two more cases while still in Frisco (we reported on June 24). A 4th suspected case turns out to be some other “old school” illness.
June 27 – FCD travels to and arrives in Orlando.
June 28 – FCD holds its first training session and has two more positive tests.
June 29 – FCD has one more positive test. (We reported the 3 new cases in Orlando on June 29.)
June 30 – FCD has three more positive tests. (We’re reporting today, July 1.)

What's the point of this post? They weren't in the bubble, it was spread upon arrival

Imo, they should be able to bring two women each into the bubble. The women will undergo the same testing and protocol.

MLS had someone test negative, enter the bubble, then test positive today. After eating meals with the team and such. It’s a fair thing to worry about.

Charles Barkley pretty much saying it’s going to be impossible for the league to finish the season

The problem is a lot of these players are divas and need a lot of excess things to feel right. It's common among celebrities and the really rich. Asking them to slum it up and live like some nobody for a month just isn't going to fly when they've been given everything they wanted their entire lives.

These dudes aren't businessmen. They're entertainers and it's not going to work because they don't have the right mindset to make it work. Best case scenario is most of them already got the covid and have the antibodies.

Just two? They should be allowed to bring in a bakers dozen each. I suppose two might work if everybody swapped every night!

“We’ll find out if there’s a hole in our bubble”

There is, in the shape of about 6000 untested Disney employees.

Im not sure why the NBA cant get this down. Disney World employees arent going to be getting tested but will be in contact with where the players are staying? What is the point of a bubble then?

Im scratching my head because you got the UFC that got a chunk of an island (barely an island) all to themselves. The people going in and out of the island is extremely limited, plus the few that do go in and out, are heavily tested and cant go into the "safe zone" where the fighters are staying and training.

I just don't get how the UFC can put together a safe bubble, but a far bigger league with far more financial means cant seem to put together anything close to a "bubble". Youre the freaking NBA, they cant offer some employees to work and stay in the bubble and get paid big time overtime? They cant bring in their own employees to work the things they need so they don't need Disney World staff?

Its just crazy to me they think this is going to work while having Disney World employees going in and out of the bubble constantly without being tested.

Why test the peasants?

This is some corporate level greed and stupidity. Do they really expect workers to not show up to work if they're not feeling 100% but need the money to feed their family and/or pay rent?
