these just sound like glorified scrimmages, I doubt this will even be televised or anything

I almost sure it is televised.

First, many executives and maybe some of the coaching staff will not attend because the COVID and they will push for a televised game.

Second, many stupid fans like us will watching the scrimmages, what can generate some income.

these teams need to play these games to get the local tv money most likely. i would guess that's what's really behind this idea.

Knicks tryna make some moves this off season. We have way to many free agents. This will only make sense if we can only play youth and gleague players

Dolan can easily have the new coach hold practice on MSG Networks in MSG, since there is nothing to gain by sending his team to Chicago. :lol:

I don't know if the other team owners have their equivalent of MSG Network.

he doesn't need them to play at all. the rest of these teams need to get to 70 games to fulfill their contract. his contract is with himself.
