Thought the same thing. Release isn't fast, but it comes out of nowhere.

If I were making these decisions, I can't imagine giving much if any weight to a test. What is the test measuring? What evidence supports its use?

The test itself isn't strong evidence but it supports my view of him as a really intelligent player. I think Terry is an ideal fit. I think we need an upgrade at PG as far as intelligence, passing and shooting. Anthony Davis is assisted on ~60% of his 2p fg's, Giannis is at ~43% (according to NBA.com advanced stats).

I mean Giannis is more of the jumbo-creator ilk whereas AD thrives next to creators. Terry appeals to me more as a low-usage, off-ball marksman that creates great space with his shooting gravity. It would be cool to see Giannis play off him situationally though, or even Terry attacking closeouts to lob to Giannis.

He is easily my favorite 'instant rotation player' pick. Feel like we can swing for a higher ceiling guy, but I would be elated to have a super cheap 3&D sniper / tertiary creator like Bane.

Worth noting that Spencer Pearlman is working with Bane's agent to boost his stock.

He doesn't just have 3 point shooting range; he's got deep 3 point shooting range, and that is something the Bucks look for, so I could see the Bucks targeting him.

Man, Bob McAdoo was fun to watch when I was a kid. Didn't play much defense - but a truly spectacular scorer.

Davian Mitchell would be another guy I’d love to grab if we could get a 2nd

I have made up my mind that I want either Tyrell Terry or Kira Lewis Jr.

Terry is the better fit here, and Lewis might end up a little better.

How are we factoring in that the draft/season starts later. Shouldn't that give a slight boost to young prospects that get a bit more time growing into their bodies?

Yeah It gives players the time they need to address their bodies and grow into them, especially young players. I know Tyrell Terry is working with Stanford's strength coach remotely to get the man strength he desparately needs. If some of these players don't add the strength they need during this time then I will be skeptical of drafting them. However, I think guys like Terry, McDaniels, and others come back stronger, improve coordination, and might even rise a little during the combine process?

3-4 month of extra preparation seems like a pretty big deal TBH. Especially for international players that usually don't get a lot of preparation time.

At the ~20 range I like Maledon for that matter. He's one of the players that will benefit most from the additional time. Assuming Poku is not on the board anymore of course.

Pokuševski is definitely a wild card in this draft. A lot of tools and flashes I really like. I wouldn't be disappointed at all if we drafted him. Another good example of someone who can really take advantage of this extra time and perhaps later on, advantage of our staff.

I think it's a question of strategy for the near future. If Horst and the FO really believes someone like Pokuševski will develop into a top player, then I'll support that pick. I would personally prefer picks in the mold of DDV where their floor is a solid contributor (DDV has surpassed that for me) who will be a core asset. I like Kira Lewis, Desmond Bane and Terry for that reason more. Pokuševski is really enticing though

I think Lewis, Poku, and Terry are off the board before we pick.

Lewis may or may not be there but pretty sure the other two are gone.

I think Lewis goes the highest of the 3, maybe even top 10
