Well, we might move up via just the lotto. He's not enough of a sure thing to me to give up anything meaningful (like a pick or one of our young guys), but Sato, Thad, Kornet - sure.

I kind of want to know what is up with his FT shooting? On 6/29 he went 2-6 from the line. Its the one thing that doesn't seem to be improving for him.

Which is very worrisome, since FT shooting is one of the best indicators we have for future shooting success.

A lot of times it's just some weird mental block the player has to get over.

I think it’s likely he’ll get a jumper.

Do you?

Statistically, most don't go from broke jumper to good jumper...you'd think more could

I think he’ll probably end up decent from the corners but I don’t think he’ll ever develop a consistent off the bounce game.

Yeah, outside of Kawhi I can't recall one in the last decade that has made that jump.

I could see catch and shoot on good percentages around the arc but off the bounce he probably won't have that

I'd give Butler credit too. It may be too soon, but Ball too.

Mad props to Lonzo and the work he’s put in on that J.

That's fair as well. Almost forgot about Jimmy.

Lonzo was really starting to turn it on when the season ended. Looked like he was on the upward swing and still might be on the way to his ceiling.

Lonzo turns out to be a pretty fun player to watch with his nice new jumper and his caricature father not being given a platform (**** you ESPN as usual). It's pretty wild to look at the difference in form. Much respect, and coming from a guy who was really, really down on the dude and his circus career beginning.

Pretty much this. Some players have mental blocks and it seems although Deni is mentally strong, he kinda fazed out during fts which has been seen many cases in the NBA. He is not someone that draws 10 times and hes shooting 55% on such a limited sample size wouldnt be worried that much as long as he can hit open 3s and midrange.

I still project Deni to be at least an avg shooter/35% career 3s and a lot better than Okoro whose jumper is much more broken.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

Lonzo already had a good season and then Zion came in. They just have a special connection out there. Really looking forward to watching the Pelicans play in Orlando (and I hope they make the playoffs).

Without the benefit of a NCAA tournament bump, this could be the draft of second round sleepers. I like a lot of the guys that could go in the second round just as much as some prospects in the top ten.

I like him in 2nd as a hard nose defense and solid shooter. A little worried about his low assist totals for his height. I would not be disappointed but like other prospects in our range better.
