I don't know whats more impressive for Deni the improved shooting or the passing from that clip.

from the 52 second mark he drives and makes crazy nice pass to a wide open corner 3 (that was missed). Then follows that up with a sick around the defenders back bounce pass for a layup. Then the last play with an on point nearly half court alley oop pass...

I'm so confused why they didn't give him this opportunity to play before COVID hit but he's looked great since the restart. He's pretty much dominated every game he's been in. Still don't think there's superstar upside there but I'd be very happy if he was available when we pick.

That bounce pass was to STAT too :lol:

That bounce pass was to STAT too

I think stat is 32...he made that pass to #5 which seems to be Othello Hunter

Fantasy. They are still remembering the hype that Hampton was tagged with a few years ago. The notion that he was going to be the next great do all wing. Superb length, athleticism, shot creation, distribution, defense, etc., etc. He was even talked about as a 'generational' talent.

Reality? Hampton hasn't shown a lick of improvement and really can't do anything well. He still has the same skinny frame that can't handle being hit. He still has the same loose handles. He still has the same lack of creativity with the ball when someone is actually guarding him. The same deer-in-the-headlights, chick with it's legs cut off look and feel. My guess is that he bought into the hype and never put in the effort to improve and work on his game.

Can easily put Lavine at point and throw Deni at the 2 if it doesnt work
