Finished Last of Us and currently on the Left Behind DLC. Was kind of underwhelmed by the ending, but the story overall was really well done. The combat actually kind of grew on me. Key is obviously to go as much stealth as possible, but I learned that crafting bombs and conserving shotgun ammo is your friend in that game. Will be moving on to God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn shortly. So, does every PS exclusive have you babysit a kid throughout the whole game?

Finally decided on my Summer Sale purchases. I picked up the Crash N' Sane Trilogy (that'll be a blast from the past), Thronebreaker, and Shadow Tactics all for $30. Good stuff.

I picked up a cheap projector from Walmart for my backyard. I have Bluetooth speakers out there already, what will I need to connect the projector to the speaker via Bluetooth? Is it just a BT transmitter plugged into the 3.5 jack in the projector?

I think you can use bluetooth from the Shield to the speakers and then just use the HDMI for the video to the projector.

I was just looking at that as an option as well. The Firestick is easier to move around because it's my bedroom box, the Shield is in my living room connected to everything. Although I could probably cash in some best but points and grab the Nvidia shield tube version.

Looking for help to increase WiFi signal around the house. We have about an 1800 square foot home and it’s about 80 years old. On most wireless devices we’re getting around 150 mbps, while on the hardwire it’s around 225 mbps. We recently added a small porch to the front of the house and when we check the speed it’s around 35 to 40. Bought an extender to try an help but when we switch to that the signal is almost nothing. So basically, inside the front door the signal is good, outside the front door the signal is bad. What’s more odd is that we get all the neighbors WiFi names on our devices while we’re outside so we know it should be possible to boost ours.

We love sitting on the porch when the weather is nice so it’d be good to get better WiFi. Any suggestions?

I tried it this evening and it works pretty well! There is a tiny delay but that isn't an issue since I bought for watching sports. Thanks again.

I found little luck with the extenders in my experience. The best thing that worked for me was a powerline adapter, but that was only good if you had something that could use a ethernet cable. About 2 years ago I bought Google's Wifi "Mesh" network and I've had fantastic signal everywhere in the house. Gaming, streaming, whatever. I've read it's not technically a true mesh network but the thing works really well.

Ugh that is a decent router too. Unfortunately a mesh network may be the best bet for you. Google or the new Nest ones are pretty good. The Nest ones double as smart assistant speakers.

Agree with both you and j - extenders suck, and mesh systems are the way to go for full coverage. We recently switched to NetGear Orbi and it's wonderful; I'm sure the products from Google and others are, too.

ETA: This is what we have. Got it on sale for around $300.
