the only guys that were drafted as great creation guys are:

LeBron, Luka, KD, Tatum and maybe PG3 really

so, if you're only drafting a wing in the top 10 if he's the next Luka or LeBron or KD or Klaw good luck

Where do you have Scottie's ceiling?

i think it's pretty high up there, i think he's got DPOY potential that can hit 3s, Covington/Thybulle type is probably his baseline, except he's much more athletic than either

But a full pan-out lands Scottie where in the wing hierarchy for you? Tier one? Two?

after what he did to Moses Moody's name, I got DJ K. Perk in a Verzuz battle against ANYBODY

Over the last month I've watched a bunch of Giddey games and compiled a bunch of footage on him, and with that helped to put this video together.

It's nothing crazy in depth, but gives you a good overview of what he's like as a player and why he's being considered a 1st round guy for next year.

Similar plans for a video with Mojave King, as well.

Any time you got input my friend send it through. Love hearing from you.

Hey, as long as you can stand listening to my voice in that, you'll be hearing more from me :)

you asked for a list of wings that could create in the NBA...

and what's your definition of a wing?

not Booker, Beal, McCollum, Harden, Levert, Holiday...

pretty obvious what a wing is.

Just checking.

I agree with Booker, Beak, McCollum, and Harden. I disagree with LeVert and Holiday who both can play the 2 and 3.

you don't want either of those guys at your 3 like 95% of the time, that's not a wing, that's a guard that CAN play wing in SOME line ups

that's not what we're talking about here

riddle me this, why is Okoro seen as a top10 pick but not Lewis?

I believe we have different views of what a wing player is. I don't consider a wing player only to be someone whom plays the 3. I am shocked you are even thinking Lewis is a 3, he is listed at 6'5" and 185 lbs.

I personally don't like Okoro but he gets to the line way more than Lewis, gets more assists, more rebounds, is a lot bigger.

Lewis is a wing, you misunderstand. You are claiming a bunch of players are not wings because the don't play the 3. I don't consider only players whom play the 3 a wing player.

whats your def of a wing?

how is Bradley Beal a wing in your eyes? what makes him a wing?

are we calling guards wings now too?

is Lamelo a wing in that case? what about RJ Hampton? throw him in the wing bin too? Killian Hayes? also a wing? what about Isaiah Joe? let's make him a wing too.

That's alright. I will pass. You just keep shifting the conversation further and further away from the player that was actually being discussed.

it's the same conversation, you said you only draft wings in the top if they can create, and then list a bunch of guards as your basis for that logic.

but ok

Just spent some time watching highlights. I get why people are excited to move onto the 2021 draft.

What do people think of Jaden Springer and Josh Christopher?

This wing vs guard argument is just kadoodle.

There are 3 essential skills common to both guards and wings. You obviously want all 3 on a player as big as possible.

Defense - Good to have on guards. Essential on wings.

Shooting - Near essential for guards. Great to have for wings, a wing needs to have stud defense plus some finishing/driving skills to last in the league without a shot.

Passing/Point Guard Play - Passing is essential on guards. Guards who can't pass and handle never become starers except in extreme shooting skill scenarios like Klay and Redick. Neither skill are essential on wings. Wings who can pass are quite commonly superstars.

Players are classified as guards or wings as a function of their skills, which has been nurtured through the years due to their size. A lot of top tier bigs are good because of guard skills developed during their childhood + growth spurt (Giannis, Davis).

Kuminga reclassified and is in the G league program next year. There’s got to be at least 5 players from this class who would be #1 in 2020.

I'd say Mobley is debatable. Size/strength concerns.
