While the free agency period is a long time away, free agents like Sabonis and Booker have garnered a ton of attention. However the one free agent that the Jazz seem ready to make the full press for is Mike D'Antoni. The Jazz have made it well known they want to go full throttle next year, they've been aggressive [Not fast enough for some GM's though as the Jazz like to do their due diligence in trades] and have already cemented the framework for a few deals. One thing is for sure, the Jazz are going to be running frantic next year. While no details have come out yet, but the buzz in the front office has been deafening these past few days.

nope both parties...I took back Thorn and Green and gave him a young chriss who had a pretty good season...
he got more talent - you guys are just hung up on the contract size and not being able to see things thru a different lens...

He traded his barely protected 1st round pick in 2022 (potentially a huge draft). He has one of the worst roster in the SIM (not by his own doing but the only way to fix that team is through the draft) and that was a super super super valuable asset.

It literally is not defendable.

I will chalk it up as he was new but to move that pick plus Rui for nothing that will help him now and nothing that will help him in the future left that team barren of any assets outside of Ingram.

thats your opinion...both gms (who made the deal)- agreed that he was getting more talent. It was as simple as that. It's subjective.
Again, Robin owns a business, is very intelligent and can make his own decisions bro...He had needs and I filled them...
