Just out of curiosity, what real life fight experience does zion have. Wrestling, Boxing, Any type of martial arts?

Also, do you think oscar Dela Hoya can beat Zion in basketball? I mean, I've seen oscar play basketball before, and hes an athlete. Surely he or Roy Jones Jr. Who has a basketball court in his house can beat Zion at basketball? Wait, the pride and joy of New Orleand himself, Percy "Master P" Miller doesnt need his rap fame and multi million dollar business ventures, especially after playing in the NBA for the Raptors. He surely can beat Zion at basketball right?

Sounds dumb right? At least I give Zion a punchers chance, same as everyone else. But no way does he beat a top level world champion fighter in any arena of their skill, be it MMA, Boxing, Baseball, Hockey, Ballet dancing, chess, cheerleading.

Dont put yourselves in the category of the fools who thought Mcgreggor could beat Floyd Mayweatjer in boxing. One person is good to great at what they do, going into another realm that they are not good at.

Master P has a better chance of beating Zion in basketball than Zion has of beating Mcgreggor. Hell Glass Joe would probably knock him out. Haha

I am on the opinion that McGregor would beat Zion. I just think there is a cutoff point. My example was simple, take the most skilled kid or little person martial artist. Say, a 60 pound little person, or an 80 pound kid. Surely you guys wouldn't bet on them, right? Even if they were insanely skilled. So obviously there is a cutoff point where strength, athleticism trumps any skill. In your opinion, where is that cutoff point?

That is an interesting point. I'm sure maybe if we were to put zion against a young teen or something like that where lack of experience may also be in play along with lack of strength even with great skill.. I don't think that cutoff point is a 170 lb grown man who is a seasoned, ufc championship level fighter though. What we need to take into consideration as well is that zion is a young, inexperienced guy as well who may not have as much training as say, another nba player who has been boxing in the offseason throughout his prime. A lot of variables in play here, obviously, and you definitely have to give both guys a chance. I don't think it would be an easy win for either. I feel like the winner probably takes some type of damage.

James Toney, a professional, hall of fame boxer, 3 weight class world champion, got completely whooped by Silva.

McGreggor a world class UFC champion, future hall of famer, got his ass kicked for 5 rounds, and that fight could have ended sooner, by floyd Mayweather in a boxing ring.

Theres a reason these guys are world class top level talent in what they do. Let's let Zion play basketball and see how great of a NBA player he can become. That's what he trained for all his life to do and what hes perfected and honed his skill in. It's not like any of these guys are going to beat him on a basketball court. And that's all that matters.

If they were both 10 year olds, then Zion would definitely have the upper hand. Otherwise, not really.

Don’t even know if Zion can fight at all.

Also muscles don’t make a chin, Zion could have a glass jaw for all we know.

Also how does he react to being punched in the face, so many question marks so Connor would be a HUGE favorite

Factor in Zions Knee injuries also. That is going to be a huge target for any type of sporting environment, not to mention a fighting atmosphere.

I can’t be the only person who laughs at seeing “back alley brawl” on the front page every day. Why would anyone even think up something like this? It’s so nonsensical. “Who would win in a hot dog eating contest? Shaq or Joey Chestnut?”

It's hilarious that this thread is STILL going. People seriously argued for 34 pages over who would win in a back alley brawl between McGregor and Zion? You mean to tell me this topic was really that up for debate?

Man, some of you really lack MMA knowledge. I want you to watch Prime FC (when nobody tested for steroids)...you had Fedor Emalianenko putting 7’7 350-400lbs professional kickboxers to sleep.

You really cannot compare anything to an MMA fighter. Conor sparred actually with The Game Of Thrones giant. If he wanted to he could of pick him apart.

One clean shot to the liver and Zion is done. One takedown and Zion is done. Stand up, Zion gets KOD stiff cold. Anywhere you pick a fight Conor dominates him. NOW, bring in a Pro UFC Fighter of Zions size and McGregor dies in 5 sec

I take my odds on any heavy weight with legit knock out power against anybody. Don't feel the same way about 160 pound elite striker without legit knockout power.

Conor isn't 160 pounds. Conor doesn't have legit Knockout power? He has 4 KOs in the UFC under 2 minutes. 19 of his 22 wins have come from Knockout. 16 of those 19 have come in the 1st round. Literally his last fight lasted 40 seconds.

I wonder if some of you have never seen or been around trained fighters before. Hell, there are guys that weigh 150 pounds at my local MMA gym that you've never heard of who would make short work of Zion. Are people seriously considering a world class fighter like Conor has ANY chance of losing to Zion? Zion would have to get extremely lucky just to touch Conor at any point. And LOL at Conor not having any punching power. What many don't understand is that these pro fighters have been trained to TAKE a hit and are trained to absorb it where it won't do any damage, especially from an untrained fighter.

I'm telling you it's ridiculous. Any move to Zion's legs and Zion is done. Oh but he weighs more. There are MASSIVE pro fighters that have lost to small guys. Tyson for example beat guys that were 6'4" and 6'5", pro boxers, and he was 5'10", so imagine McGregor fighting an overweight basketball player with no pro fighting experience? I mean sure I wouldnt be surprise if he is able to absorb some hits because of his mass, but to think he has a legit chance of winning is crazy.

57M saw that, but still thats mostly fooling around. Regardless Zion isn't even in the realm of size that the mountain is.
