The same reason my wife and I are talking about doing the same, he wants a different one?

Could just be as simple as he thinks the market is going to crash further as covid doesn't go away and would like to cash it asap. Could be as simple as he'd prefer a downtown condo instead of a big mansion. Could have simply just bought something he likes better.

My guess is it's a clear sign Giannis is leaving for GSW.

That's totally different than asserting that they should straight up just not pay their players the contracts that they agreed to.

Correct read. And I think the Simmons/Shams conversation is pointless to have, because the only way you keep the current CBA and those existing contracts intact is if you scale them down on a percentage basis off BRI.

Florida reported 119 deaths today. Most ever. Previous high was 83 on April 28th.

Looks like the national death count wasn’t just a one off anomaly, and is on its way up.

This seems less than promising. 0 icu beds available in central Florida currently. Can scale up to 500 assuming they can find non infected people to staff them.

He just bought a 6500 square foot mansion elsewhere. Out of privacy for him, I won't say where it is, but that's the reason. Beautiful home, and a whole 2 million cheaper.

It's only been a couple days of higher deaths so too early to say for sure. But I'm sure if this holds true the crowd that's spent the last 1-2 weeks saying this is all bs because daily deaths haven't gone up will finally realize they've been wrong every step for 4 months and start listening.

Awesome. Thank you. I’d hate to have given up that lake view though. That place was stunning.

With the rising lake levels you don't want to be on the shore.

Michael Beasley, steadying veteran presence, is low-key one of my favorite NBA storylines. His career would make a hell of a country song.

It is a stunning house. Fast drive to downtown. Doesn't add up.
I also saw he was selling his Atlanta home. Not sure if that was an old link or not.

Your comment bothers me, because no one has been right or wrong every step of the way in this. Its a **** show, and everyone needs to be more humble.

He's not giving up a lake view entirely, it just may not be of Michigan.

Didn't say anyone was right on everything. But, the folks who dug in back in February that this is all BS have been wrong every step of the way. And lots of them are still going. At some point you'd think they just accept they're wrong and take this serious, but folks will never admit being wrong.

Besides for the inherent conflict of interest, if he cut the NBA a deal to use it as marketing is there anything wrong with it? Where the players get their steaks are pretty low on my concerns going into a Bubble. It makes sense to go with only one provider for scale and control purposes. I'm sure he just didn't want an outside company getting that notoriety,

Due to the recent outbreak, I'm shifting to CDs side of this becoming a disaster. My comments earlier where based on it being reasonable to plan for the bubble and hope the US would take care of business where we would be at a point where positive cases would be low enough that contact tracing would extinguish any outbreaks.

Optimistic hope is that Florida is such a **** players recognize it and put pressure on each other to stay in the bubble.

I think I’ve seen pictures or videos of every team working out before Orlando or getting ready to go to Orlando, except the Bucks. They’re running a tight ship.

I like it, keep the no drama season going.

That said, the pessimist in me has me thinking how they did not' say who tested positive and then stuff like this has me thinking Giannis had it. That said, I'm fully in support of not saying anyone who gets it. Felt weird from the beginning.
