I think that for the Lopez's and the Antetokounmpo's, having a sibling with you on campus can help with the experience.

Highest 7 day rolling average deaths since June 24th. Highest 3-day average in over a month.

Over-under of August 14th, just got adjusted down to August 10th.

Lowe and Pelton discussed the Bucks for 20 minutes or so on today's Lowe Post.

Welcome brother. We are an elite and open minded contingent. We certainly won’t accuse you of being any less of a Bucks fan or suggest that you’ll be “bitter” if we win the whole thing.

Bucks just tweeted out Middleton and Giannis boarding their charter from Mitchell earlier today.

Wondering if some astute eyes saw which Bucks player perhaps didn’t board with the team. 8-)

I think Kyle Korver owns The KK, so it was probably him.

Recap?

One of the two had some ridiculous stat that in something like 650 possessions where Giannis is at center, the Bucks are +24. Lowe had expected more Giannis at center lineups but it hasn't really happened.

Pelton thinks Marvin was an interesting pickup because he thought it would mean more MW and Giannis frontlines but MW mostly plays without Giannis. Lowe doesn't trust Ersan in the playoffs.

They both like that Brook can be a legit option when the pace slows down. He take advantage of smaller opponents because someone like Embiid or Bam will be on Giannis.

They think Giannis will need to play more minutes and he should be guarding the opposition's best player more because he's going to win DPOTY.

Some handwringing over the age of the team. Lowe thinks the Bucks have the most to lose of any team because they really need to win now.

They both like the lineup versatility and depth.

Worth a listen, nothing too exciting.

Bubble thoughts:

Choosing Florida as the site was never smart.

The bubble is going to have two major weaknesses: support staff, and players who are used to doing whatever they want. I can’t really see a scenario where at least one of those two doesn't majorly compromises this thing.

The bubble will still be considerably safer than just having your summer in a city.

I hope this works, sports can provide meaningful connection and healthy distraction for a region. Furthermore our country could really use examples of teams like the Nuggets and Bucks, that have teammates of multiple cultures and ethnicities working together, and genuinely close friendships.

Covid sucks, but partisan politics and dueling media narratives are equally harmful.

Portland (Nurkic and Collins are healthy and frisky) and Denver (Michael Porter Jr could have a moment) could majorly surprise.

Hey, it was just a question. I must not have been elite enough for an answer.

Feels like you're rooting for COVID to shut down the NBA harder than you are for the Bucks to win the championship and accepting that this is happening.

Your pessimism is exhausting sometimes my dude. We all know how **** COVID is. We come here to talk basketball and escape that, not have it thrown right back at us about why the NBA shouldn't be playing.

I for one am going to be optimistic. Dr. Fauci thinks the NBA's plan is brilliant and will work, so I'm gonna roll with that.

Wanting like hell to see the NBA resume, and also thinking the best course of action would be to shut it all down aren't mutually exclusive.

Nah, you’ve been after me from the jump for whatever reason. It’s almost like basketball and Covid have been intertwined. To try to spin this like I’m any less of a Bucks fan is as laughable as the back patting you’re doing for being an “optimist.” I absolutely do not care if my relaying newsworthy tweets continues to bother you my dude. Feel free to slam that ignore button.

He just bought a 6500 square foot mansion elsewhere. Out of privacy for him, I won't say where it is, but that's the reason. Beautiful home, and a whole 2 million cheaper.

Awesome. Thank you. I’d hate to have given up that lake view though. That place was stunning.

That was/is a gorgeous house.

He's not giving up a lake view entirely, it just may not be of Michigan.

I think Marv is probably a pros pro so I’m likely wrong, but I worry how his conditioning will be after the lay off. Same fear for everyone, but he’s an older, end of career guy, who always seemed to carry a bit of baby fat. Idk, probably misplaced.
