Still not sure if this is going to go through, but I'm a bit selfish, I wanna watch basketball :(
Good assessment:

Lol at the Nets signing Crawford. Looks like Sean Marks is basically kowtowing to Kyrie at this point. I'm guessing one of the reasons Kyrie was upset in Boston last year was due to the fact that he tried to pull a Lebron by getting his team to sign his buddy, but was shot down by Ainge.

Kyrie wants Jamal Crawford that badly? He must post here.

I’m not picking up on how Crawford had anything to do with kyrie? It’s an end of year deal with nothing for next season when Kyrie will actually be playing right? Why wouldn’t they sign him earlier in the year when Kyrie was playing if he was his guy so much?

crawford is a family friend and kyrie worked out with him in seattle when he rehabbed his knee....also wanted celtics to sign him. not sure if it directly relates to kyrie but the 2 players the nets signed to fill out the roster are michael beasley (KD childhood friend) & jamal crawford a kyrie friend

Good points, I guess I just don’t think it’s very deep at the moment. they’re playing to get swept in the first round now. They’re only a playoff team by participation. Gotta sign somebody so why not if your stars asked for those two. If Celtics were fielding a roster that pathetic they might have to ask Tatum and Kemba, “hey who can you convince to play with us for a month” too.

You’d hope that maybe they call someone up from the g league team that deserves an early try out for next years spot than a 40 yr old and a underperforming high draft pick journey man

Definitely a slippery slope. Those guys already got Atkinson fired because they were mad that Deandre Jordan wasn't starting over Jarrett Allen. Now you're letting them shape the roster with buddies. Let's see what happens next season.
