Hey, it was just a question. I must not have been elite enough for an answer.

Feels like you're rooting for COVID to shut down the NBA harder than you are for the Bucks to win the championship and accepting that this is happening.

Your pessimism is exhausting sometimes my dude. We all know how **** COVID is. We come here to talk basketball and escape that, not have it thrown right back at us about why the NBA shouldn't be playing.

I for one am going to be optimistic. Dr. Fauci thinks the NBA's plan is brilliant and will work, so I'm gonna roll with that.

We all do not know how **** COVID is and that's the biggest problem there is.

I think the recent Ringer article on 10 reasons why the Bucks are a threat mentioned that Bud has played Giannis at the 5 nearly twice as much this year, and in those rotations him and Midds were +24. So Lowe's spot on. I'm really hopeful that Bud will do exactly as they said, try new lineups, adjust, play Giannis 38-40 minutes but have him off ball so he doesn't tire. And figure out a way to utilize the doubles/triples on Giannis.

I still think last year's playoff losses came because we didn't adjust, left Bledsoe in, Giannis got tired, missed FTs and most importantly, our shooters went cold. If that happens again this year in the playoffs I don't know what to say.

So it's not worth a listen?

The best part was them discussing Brooke Lopez, and saying "I mean, we acknowledge he's one of the 5 or so best defensive players in the league, it's his offense that's been the issue this year." Then them both laughing about "Imagine saying that 5 years ago."
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

I hope what we here by the end of the playoffs is "Brook Lopez's post offense came out of nowhere" and not "Bud fails to adapt once again".

It'd be nice if he could start hitting threes again.

Do we know who didn't make the trip down to the bubble from the traveling party yet?

Lopez hitting 3 again would be a huge boost. Hopefully he remembers he doesn't need to be 3 ft behind the line

Guys--could we move the NBA/Woj talk to the ATL thread? Then if we can keep the discussion civil, let's give it a try. The NBA does have an issue with Chinese revenues that impacts the salary cap.

Let's discuss here:

Thank you

ETA: I'm going to delete out the three posts above, but please join discussion in ATL thread.

What bothered me was the months of saying you had insiders, and saying everyone but us knew it was shutting down, and now that you're completely wrong, on everything, you continue to push an agenda and almost seem bitter that your "sources" were completely wrong, again, on everything.

If you think I'm telling you that you're any less of a Bucks fan, then I'm sorry, but you have misinterpreted my posts big time.

I'm not putting you on ignore because you contribute a ton when there are basketball discussions, foreign players, etc...

Can't wait to see Donte in these playoffs. Think this could really be his shining, breakout moment.

I keep thinking about that point someone made about Bledsoe playing without fans. Would be an absolutely insane turn of events if he showed out just because of the lack of a crowd.

Nba partnered with Bioreference to be their bubble tester (same as MLS). They will be expecting results back in an hour or so.

Bio reference is making general population wait 5-7 days for results.

We’ll see how this goes over as testing continues to strain under the weight of the current spike.

As we both repeat ourselves, the real problem is that the bubble is phony. Pauly Shore was far more isolated in BioDome.

They need to get workers into the bubble.

I’m referring to the ethical question of prioritizing daily tests of asymptomatic, non essential athletes at low-risk for complications over every one else in an exploding epidemic.

It’s a terrible look and completely amoral.

I'm not too concerned about the workers because they'll be wearing PPE when inside the bubble and they won't have any interaction with NBA personnel. My main concern is players will get restless and there are no clear deterrent consequences for breaking protocol.

Compare that to what Blue Jays players are dealing with.

There wasn't a BioDome in "Son in Law." I don't know what movie you were watching.

There is a solution to a defense centered around the Lopii. Put them in PnRs until a G cant get over a PnR and shoot 3s off the dribble and on D leave BroLo to shoot 3s to crater the lane for Giannis drives. He shot terribly from 3 in the postseason last year plus this entire year. Not every team can do those things successfully but they are simple actions that when repeated aren't in our favor. Which is all playoff matchups are about.

Which is why it is so important to give Giannis a try with 4 shooters. Soooooo many actions that works with.
