Take Brady over Tyrod cause there's more upside of him being an MVP candidate one more time or having a mediocre year but big balls in the playoffs. Tyrod is just not a high upside player, he doesn't turn it over much but doesn't make big plays either. Plus it's not even like he's a guarantee to be a league average starting QB based on his Browns run and not starting for several years.

Taylor is already signed, plus I'd draft one to compete with him for the job. Brady was awful, is done, and if he bounced back one season that would probably be it. The Chargers have about the worst OL in the NFL...would he be do well with that? Doubtful.

You can draft one to develop whichever way you go, that has no consequence to next year. Brady was a league average qb this season with terrible skill players, even washed up he is a tier or two above tyrod taylor.

Again you will not find an executive who would take taylor over brady for the next year, even in badly managed teams like chargers.

For the same money sure, but they have a ton of free agents. I wouldn't let an important one go to nab a vastly declining Brady. If they keep Rivers or get Brady, they'd need to vastly improve their OL too, and in that case, I'd trust a 38 year old Rivers over a 43 year old Brady. To pay a guy that's 43 years old much who had an 88 passer rating and 6.6 yards per attempt would be ridiculous. If he's available, it's because a smart team in New England knew he was worth moving on from.

He should sign with Niners as backup when they try to go for 2nd ring in a row

Belichick knows when to cut the cord with a player and if he feels Brady’s cliff is coming he will let him go if he’s not overruled. Brady may also be asking for a multi year deal making it harder for Belichick to believe in the contract,

Good call. :wizard:

I think he'll either be back with the Bucs if they do well this year, or retire if they're struggling. I don't think he'll become a guy that hops from team to team. But I also wouldn't have predicted Farvre playing for Packers/Jets/Vikings back-to-back-to-back, so who knows.
