Yeah, they have plenty of pitching talent. I mean, the great Andy Sonnastine and the great Josh Hammel should anchor that rotation for years to come.
Pathetic and gutless performance by the 2007 New York Yankees. They sweep the Red Sox and then get owned by the pathetic Devil Rays, making the Boston series irrelevant.

Sonnanstine, Jackson, Kazmir, and Shields are likely to have many strong years ahead of them. Each of them struggles with command, or a bad inning, but all of them are gaining confidence and better command rapidly.
The oldest starter is 24 or 25.
All of them have live arms, are durable, and are still learning how to pitch.
Hammel doesn't have the same outlook IMO.
All of this on a 23 million dollar payroll.
Here's hoping to a good pennant race again.
