Considered a Kia Sedona too. They have a new version coming out this fall. I'd look at it if we didn't want to buy right now. We just dropped down to one car with Covid, and not having to run the kids around to activities. Sold my 2008 Passat Wagon.

I'll check PM's/the site once a day to go through what the process is of getting a GM....doesn't matter to me if I know the person or not (not sure if we have a waiting list, or if someone is trying to get back into the league)..If I have to be removed completely from the Bucks and not as an "owner" I'm cool with that as well - whatever is best for the BaF as a whole.

Sorry fellas, wish nothing but the best to y'all both in the league and in y'all personal lives...Hope our Knicks stop sucking that dack and get back to being respectable soon enough.... Hopefully can get back to being more active sooner rather than later.

If anything, I'll always have my BaF 1.0 Year 1 Champ with Hoodie, Boogie, and CP3 (Original BaF Big 3) lmao.

Edit - If there is a freeze period for trades or signings coming up soon, or anything I might have missed where my absence for this summer won't be a detriment or anything like that...let me know. But if trades are going on and I'm missing out on things, I'd like to get a more active day-to-day GM involved. Thanks

I definitely appreciate you letting everyone know. You leaving would definitely be BaF's loss but I do understand that things happen which put this on the back burner.

Echoing what a few others have said, if you believe that your absence will only be a temporary one and by the end of the summer you think you will be back in at a normal activity level, then I think you should stay. The next couple of months will have very little activity IMO other than the sheer boredom of GMs and rearranging of deck chairs from team to team. Nothing will really happen of importance until the draft in October. So if you need to step away for a few months and then think that by October you can resume, stay.

If however you don't think that can be the case, then I will start looking for a replacement. Maybe we can find someone new who wants to run the day to day stuff with you kind of overseeing it all from afar as owner/CO-GM. If you don't think you can devote the time by October though, better to find a replacement sooner than later so they have time to acclimate themselves to the league before we ramp back up again in October.

Let me know what you'd like to do.

I reached out to him and sent him the offer. He accepted.

The way I see it I know I am not competing this year or next, so might as well just acquire long-term assets. My team still might make some noise and be a pest, and again I knew I wasn't a contender. No reason to try to be like the 5th best team in the conference. This move nets me a future unprotected 1st and a future 2nd. I am good with it.

As far as the league goes right now, we are having a few issues. Phoenix (Jose7) hasn't been active in months. He hasn't responded to multiple PMs from myself or others and hasn't PM'd me since November. He was the one team to not RSVP their spot for next season and I have given him some extra latitude because he is a vet who has been around for awhile but at some point, if he isn't active at all, he will need to be replaced. I am giving him until Friday to check in and let us know his plans before we will need to move on.

Maybe more concerning is the fact that Brazilian Knick hasn't been online in a few weeks now and PMs to him have sat in outboxes for a week. It is very unlike him to not be online as he has consistently been one of our most active participants. I know that Brazil is going through a bad time now so hopefully things are just out of whack for him now and he will be back eventually. But in the meantime, for those who are wondering what's going on in Miami, please take a minute to think of BK and his family.

I know for a fact BK was reaaaalllyyy looking forward to the season opening up on the 11th, which is why his sudden disappearance is concerning. Hope he’s ok!

One of my bro’s have the Sienna. That thing is loaded!!! The kids love it. Lol. Though I have four of my own, I’m not ready for that life!! Seems really convenient though. Especially for road trips. Until then I’ll stick with my pathfinder with the third row.

I bought the Passat wagon when my third was born to avoid a van, but we regretted it pretty quickly when they tried to kill each other constantly. The van was a good move, especially for road trips. I'm tempted to look at SUVs too.
