I expected players to break the rules but it's worrying that it's happening so early on. Just wait until more time passes and players really get restless. If somebody does this during the season then they miss five games without ever testing positive.

I think it's good that the NBA is cracking down early and showing players if they break Quarantine there are repercussions for that.

Chuck! Your man Goran has the Covid. He and Bam are not in the bubble with the Heat.

A buddy at work got his in an hour on Tuesday. My daughter got hers within an hour 2 weeks ago. Another buddy got his in a few hours back the end of March. All of them were at different local hospitals. I wonder if it’s places that have to ship their tests if they don’t have a lab locally?
I'm in AZ and me and my wife got tested in late June because we were taking a road trip to WI to visit family and wanted to be sure we weren't asymptomatic carriers. Was able to schedule it for a couple days out and got our negative results in 2 days. (Side note the test is a little uncomfortable but doesn't hurt)

But we know someone in AZ who got symptoms last week and had a hell of a time finding a testing place and a week later they still don't have results.

So I don't know what to think about testing availability or ability of labs to get results back. Could be worse now than it was a couple weeks ago but that probably varies from place to place.

As much as I want to have something to take my mind off the state of our lives, and would love to get re-excited about the Buck's Championship chase, I feel like its almost inenvitable that the season is going to get shut down again. Anyone else have a gut feel on how long this restart is going to last before they pull the plug?

I think it will still happen, but the NBA and their players and agents are making a lot of missteps here. They aren’t helping their case.

After seeing the food they're being given I can't say I blame him. Especially for a team that has no chance at doing anything.

If they make it to the 2nd round it will finish. Those teams will all care.

I don't know how it's gets there though

The basketball tournament has gotten through it. Mls for the most part seems to be having success. If the nba fails with way more precautions than either of those two leagues than the players themselves are selfish and no better than the anti maskers that go to covid parties. It is safer inside that bubble than anywhere in America right now outside the mountains of Montana as far as contracting the virus.

I have more optimism that the NBA will finish this season than I do that the NFL or MLB will. I have very little hope of a CFB season.

I don't think its really surprising so many NBA players have caught corona considering the amount of traveling they do and the exposure they have to other people that also travel extensively. It would be interesting to know what percentage of them were asymptomatic, it seems like quite a few. None of it indicates the bubble won't work, trust the plan!
