First good news of the TMI-era, Duncan Robinson is rated in the top 100 (97) by Bleacher Report. Now we just need the world to see what Nunn brings to the team.

Too much Heat hate on there. If I started a favorite Heat player in history thread, I may get a 3 day ban. 5 day ban if I say Luke Babbitt.

Lol but that kind of thread belongs on our board, not the GB. You start a thread like that then a bunch of our fans will get baited into talking some wild ****. Steroids, refs, LeBron owns our franchise...the usual stuff. Then I'd have to close it and throw strikes all around.

Anyone here think we’re going to see another player emerge at an all star level in the weeks ahead? If so who? If Drob learns to defend, he could be up there. Same with Nunn.

Going to also be exciting to see this team play with a full camp under their belt. Things were looking rough with injuries and the trade. Many players were still finding their place.

D-Rob being top-100 in the BR article shows how much other teams have to be aware of him. I hope he does develop enough passable D to be considered by other team’s fans as more than just a role player with one skill. I don’t think he’ll ever be all-star level, but I can see the Heat developing one more internally ...

The fact we have Herro & Nunn having great rookie years show how quickly we’ve got ourselves back into good shape. I think Herro will show a little more in the bubble, and be on the fringe of all-star conversations in 2021-22 (unless we get an all-star guard between now & then).

Finding a way to deal Nunn/1st/KO for Dipo IMO is the key move for the off-season. If we can get that done we should push for the ECF and still preserve close to max for 2021.
As much as it hurts to say, trading Herro for Dipo is the better cap move - clears $4m of cap space and allows us to have Dipo’s cap hold and be almost at max.

Fox is on his rookie deal and is a RFA, there’s no leverage at all for him. Rookies are cost-controlled for up to 7 years, and all teams know the clock. They’ll make move around him, unless they get an absolute haul.

Nice idea though.

Disgruntled players always have leverage. Not saying he is, but the Kings org isn't known for being quality. Just this past year, Hield was upset about his contract.

Now, I believe they will pay Fox. They have to. However, a player who wants to move on, will move on. Not saying Fox does now because he's selling his home, but he could decide to leverage himself on to a historically well run org like the Heat if he thinks he can get paid (Florida taxes vs Cali taxes helps a bit financially) and win.

I think Fox stays, but this bit of real estate info was fun to post to stir the pot.

He likely put his home up for sale because he's about to get a massive pay raise so he's planning on upgrading. I highly doubt he's on the move Kings will match any offer he gets.
