Wish they would keep the "skins" part of the name. Imagine all the words... potato skins, leopard skins, etc

So I heard it may be Red Wolves...
Ok cut and paste time...

Hail to the Red Wolves

Hail to the Red Wolves
Hail victory
Packs on the scent trail
Fight for old D.C.

Blitz’em, block’em, bomb’em
Let the beast roar
Sack’em, rock’em, sock’em
Canine score more

Howl on, howl on
Till we have won
Sons of Washington
Fight! Fight! Fight!

Hail to the Red Wolves
Hail victory
Maul cross that goal line
Win for old D.C.!

Well, it's progress. Just seems like an extra burden to put on the new head coach. Shouldn't they have a VP or some other empty suit like that to work with Snyder on this? Heck, I'd rather have Mrs. Snyder work on this than RR.

I am totally down with the RedWolves. I might start watching NFL football again.

Gotta laugh that they put it on Redskins letterhead - with the logo that they're getting rid of - and they're thanking their sponsors ahead of their fans. God love em. I think they're doing the right thing. They should probably take their time and make it somewhat interesting - rather than rushing to a name that'll piss people off. Maybe put it to a vote to the fans (not their sponsors). Of course, that's what the Bullets did, and I don't think people were particularly happy.

Well, they put the name to a vote and then didn't go with the name the voters chose.

I'd be fine with that or RedHawks. https://media.defense.gov/2019/Sep/16/2002183006/-1/-1/0/190916-F-AF999-0012.JPG

Football already has Hawks though. I can't see the league front office thinking that's a good idea.

I mean, baseball's got 2 colors of socks, and folks are fine with that as long as we spell them sox. Hmm, RedHawx. Genius.

Man, what a tough break for the guy. Can AGG make the step up from Liberty College to NFL starter as a rookie? I see the next guy up as big Cam Simms. But acquiring a veteran might make sense - they've got an awfully young WR group, and now it's even more inexperienced.
